Magic is the art of creating falsehoods through trickery. But not all the magic is false. During the ancient world, creatures of all kinds were trained for years to gain great power or influence that appeared to come from a variety of different sources.

Today in this post, you will find out about a goblin who is eager to learn magic. Yes, I am talking about the COMMON Earth Unit "GOBLIN PSYCHIC". These are the one kind of goblins that trained for years to control their mind and learn how to use psychic abilities.

A tower can be found deep within the Magi Forest. The Magi who live in the tower teach "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" how to use their minds to move objects and read the thoughts and minds of others. The road to becoming a "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" is arduous. It's not just a skill that Goblins can learn; due to Gobson's proximity, Goblins come more frequently. The Magi who live in the tower-like to teach people how to use their minds to move objects and interpret other people's minds. "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" use their abilities to assist people in Gobson, or they can embark on excursions and prepare to become full-fledged Summoners.

Though "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" is a Common EARTH Monster, he fought like a brave warrior. He has the true power of magic that will always hit the health of the enemy monsters. Usually, he has 2 magic attack power but when used with the Rare Summoner "OBSIDIAN" he gains extra +1 magic power. So it becomes 3 and just thinks of it, each attack from this monster will damage 3 health of the enemy monster.

Now, let's talk about this monster's ability. Because of its limited health, using this beast in battle is extremely hazardous. You know, there are so many creatures with three or four melee or ranged attack powers that might kill "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" even before he initiated his attack. But still, I feel free to use the monster in a battle because of its unique and most useful ability which is "Tank Heal". Now we all are so conversant about this monster as I thought because I saw most of my opponents use this monster. Monsters with this ability restore a portion of the monster in the first position's health each round. isn't it awesome? if somehow you can manage to make him survive 1 or 2 rounds, he can change the game very easily.

Let's talk about increasing this monster to its maximum level. now, Is it worthwhile to spend money on it?

Yes, "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" is called a Common EARTH Monster but don't you dare to underestimate him because, at the max level, he could be one of the strongest soldiers on your team. The attack power and speed will remain the same but the main lapsus of this monster will be solved which was a health issue. At level 10, "GOBLIN PSYCHIC's" health point will increase from 3 to 7. So the frightening of getting killed by the enemy monsters in a single hit will be gone and then you can utilize him in a battle without any tension. To upgrade his level to 10, you will need 400 cards. Each card will cost you around 0.22$ so a total of 88$ is needed.

But what will I get after spending 88$??

At level 10, "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" will have,

💥3 Magic Power

💥1 Speed

💥7 Health

💥And 3 new abilities "Affliction", "Silence", and "Dispel"

"Affliction": When an Affliction Monster attacks a target, it has a chance to inflict Affliction on the defendant, rendering it unhealable. That means if there are any enemy monsters that have "Tank Heal" or "Heal" ability, will not be able to restore the damaged health of the affected monster. Even if the affected monster himself has one of those abilities, can't restore own damaged health.

"Silence": All hostile Monsters' Magic Attack is reduced. That means if my opponent uses any magic attack monsters, "GOBLIN PSYCHIC" will surely reduce 1 of their attack power.

"Dispel": When this monster attacks an opponent, it removes all of the enemy's favorable status buffs. let me make it clear for you. There is numerous monster that has the ability to increase the stats like attack power, speed, health, and armor. At the battle, those monsters use their abilities to increase the stats of their friendly monsters. But when a monster with "Dispel" strike, It removes all those positive stats of that enemy monster.

• There were no specific rules for this battle. It was a "Standard" rule and the limit mana cap was 30.

One little piece of advice to you all and that is always check the previous battle monster selection. Then you can have an idea of which monsters can your opponent use against you in the battle and then it would be easy for you to take counter monsters against the opponent's team.

• My prediction was right and my opponent used the WATER Summoner "KELYA FRENDUL" and the monsters. He used only 2 monsters with melee attack power and they are "DIEMONSHARK" and "FEASTING SEAWEED". He made a serious mistake by selecting four magical attack power creatures. After reviewing his previous battles, I discovered that he was constantly utilizing "VENARI SPELLSMITH", "ELVEN MYSTIC", "RIVER NYMPH", and "ICE PIXIE", a total of four magic power monsters. You'll understand why when I explain. My opponent's summoner has the power to give all friendly monsters increased armor and speed. But acquiring more armor and speed wouldn't assist them because I used most of the magic demons, and it doesn't matter how fast or how much armor the hostile monsters have because magic attacks always damage the health.

• Whenever I used EARTH Summoner "OBSIDIAN" and the Earth monsters against the water monsters, 80% of battles I won. Just like my opponent, I also utilize only 2 monsters of melee power "UNICORN MUSTANG" and "MYCELIC MORPHOID", and the rest of the 4 monsters of magic power "REGAL PERYTON", "GOBLIN PSYCHIC", "KHMER PRINCESS", and "SPIRIT SHAMAN".

Now lets get into the battlefield

• REGAL PERYTON, the earth monster, origin from the mountains all across the Splinterlands, rarely seen by others. Do you know why? Because these monsters are so fast. This monster has 5 speeds and also the flying ability. So the rare unit monster REGAL PERYTON strikes first on the enemy monster DIEMONSHARK. And as I said before, magic attacks didn't care whether the monsters has armor or not. So that strike from DIEMONSHARK damaged 2 health of DIEMONSHARK. Now it was DIEMONSHARK turn to initiate the next attempt of attack. With its 2 melee attack power, DIEMONSHARK was the only monster of the enemy team which managed to damage the health of the UNICORN MUSTANG once or twice in this battle. The rest of the enemy monsters couldn't do anything to her. The magic power monsters used by the opponent were having only 1 magic attack power. And we all know that the rare unit monster UNICORN MUSTANG has the VOID ability. When a monster with VOID ability hits by any magic monster, the damage will be reduced by 1. As all the magic monsters of the opposite team have only 1 magic power, those monsters hit weren't damaging the health. Those monsters were attacking UNICORN MUSTANG one by one but all of their efforts goes in vain because of the VOID ability. Mainly it was the turning point for me in this battle.

• While the opposing monsters attacked UNICORN MUSTANG one by one, the other demons in my gang launched devastating strikes on DIEMONSHARK. Interestingly, DIEMONSHARK's 4 armor was entirely intact, but its health progressively declined to owe to the attack of my team's magical monsters. GOBLIN PSYCHIC launched the final attack of the first round, and with that single blow, DIEMONSHARK lost his remaining health and the monster died.

• In this battle, KHMER PRINCESS was the only monster I lost. The opponent's 2nd melee-powered monster FEASTING SEAWEED is an OPPORTUNITY ability monster. We all know that monsters with this ability always target the low-health enemy monster. KHMER PRINCESS was very low on health so at the first-round opponent's opportunity ability monster strike on that monster of my team and killed it.

• After the most powerful melee-powered monster DIEMONSHARK of the enemy team was killed, FEASTING SEAWEED comes at the first position for defending the other monster of his team. But that was a waste. Because he has no chance, I repeat, no chance at all against all my magic-powered monster. Even he didn't get a chance to attack in the 2nd round because it has only 2 health and REGAL PERYTON with its 2 magic attack power, killed FEASTING SEAWEED at the beginning of the round 2. And here the battle ends. there were 4 magic monsters left in the enemy team and those were continuously hitting the first position monster of my team but as I explained before, all those attacks were going in vain just because the first position monster of my team UNICORN MUSTANG has the VOID ability. But none of the monsters of the enemy team has the VOID ability so they get killed one by one by the magic-powered monsters of my team. Even if any of the monsters had the VOID ability, still they couldn't stand before my team because their magic power is over 1 so at least they could damage 1 health if the enemy monsters have the VOID ability. SPIRIT SHAMAN killed the enemy monster ELVEN MYSTIC with a single strike because that enemy monster has only 2 health. Like that the others monster of my opposite team were killed and I won the battle.

As I won this match, I got +20 League Rating.
