There Is A History About ANCIENT LEECH. Splinterlands Social Media Challenge.

Greed is one of the worst human traits. The consequences of greed are never good. There is a proverb for this reason. Sin in greed, death in sin.

Today we will discuss a monster who is a shining example of a greedy individual. He was so eager for wealth that he gave up his life to the Dark Lord in order to live forever. His thirst for money blinds him to the point where he accepts a black curse.

Before several eras, a king was deeply depressed. He was worried about his riches because he didn't know who would look after them when he died. One of his attendants was a high-ranking practitioner of dark wizardry. That man carried out an ancient prohibited magical ritual. The elderly avaricious king was bestowed with a warped version of perpetual life. This is the history of "ANCIENT LEECH", an old greedy king of the ancient world of magic.

Back in the day, The jungle dominion was divided into three kingdoms. The names of the other two kingdoms have been lost to history. "ANCIENT LEECH" is driven by a desire for wealth. Because he could manage the hazardous and violent creatures of the jungle, he was considerably stronger.

"ANCIENT LEECH" was made because of the Dark Eternal Wizardry. He was so powerful that he built his own palace deep in Hilopa's jungle, which was naturally guarded by venomous predators and bloodthirsty trees. It has 3 Magic attack power. Like seriously? He has the Magic attack power and not 1 or 2, it's 3. This implies that every time he attacks a creature, he loses 3 health. The only difficulty is that he is extremely frail in terms of health and energy. Because he only has three lives and one speed. And, yes, I must admit that this monster has a disadvantage in that only one attack from any opponent monster with the "Snipe" or "Opportunity" ability can kill this monster before he even attacks once.

Now let me tell you the advantage of using "ANCIENT LEECH". Every time when I use this monster in a battle just because of its "Life leech" ability. Think of it, the monster you have used attacks of the enemy monster and damage 3 health. At the same time, it gains extra +2 health. Yes, that sounds interesting and "ANCIENT LEECH" is capable of it.

Dude, it is not an ordinary monster card. It is "ANCIENT LEECH", the LEGENDARY DEATH Monster. So it will cost you a lot. This monster can only be upgraded to level 4, so just 11 cards are enough. But the price of one card is 27.22$(current market value). That means you'll have to pay $300 to fully outfit this beast. But don't worry, it won't fail you. At level 4, "ANCIENT LEECH" will have

3 Magic attack power,
1 Speeds,
6 Heaths,
And 3 staggering abilities "Life Leech", "Void" and "Resurrect".

  • There were no specific rules for this battle. It was "Standard" rule and the limit of mana cap was 26

  • As I saw the last five battles monster's lineup of my opponent's monster, I was sure that he will use the Fire Monsters and Summoner. And my prediction was true. He did use the Fire Summoner "TARSA" along with 5 Fire monsters and 1 Neutral monster. Fire Summoner "TARSA" that has been used by my opponent has the ability to increase +1 Melee power and the +1 health of every friendly monster used in the battle. He was using 4 monsters of Melee power, and 4 of them were powered up.

  • On the other hand, I used the Death monsters but not the Death Summoner. I used the Dragon Summoner "DRAKE OF ARNAK" and he has the ability to provide extra armor to all the friendly monsters. Yeah, you must be wondering why I used this Summoner that can only provide 1 armor? Because this one single piece of armor would be more useful than the other abilities. And you will find out very soon that what I said is true.

  • "FIRE ELEMENTAL" was the fastest monster used in this battle. It is a Ranged attack monster and targeted the first position monster of my team "CURSED WINDEKU". If "FIRE ELEMENTAL" was a Melee attack monster, "CURSED WINDEKU" would have attacked back because it has the "Thorns" ability. The enemy monster "FIRE ELEMENTAL" wasn't just damaged 2 armor of him but also damage 1 armor of the next monster "SHADOWY PRESENCE". It happened because the Rare Fire monster "FIRE ELEMENTAL" has "Blast" ability that does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.

  • The majority of the hostile monsters were formidable. They were slamming down on my beasts with ferocious force. He used another Melee monster, "SERPENTINE SPY", which has the "Opportunity" ability. On the battlefield, these creatures always attack the opponent monsters with the lowest health first. So "SERPENTINE SPY" attacked my "UNDEAD BADGER", the lowest health monster of my team. He could have killed that monster with a single strike, but his melee assault hits the armor first. And "UNDEAD BADGER" had armor provided by the Rare Dragon Summoner "DRAKE OF ARNAK", so it survives this time.

  • I must say the enemy monster "RADIATED SCORCHER" had a bad time in this battle. This monster comes with only 2 health in a battle. But the Fire Summoner "TARSA" provides extra 1 health. So it survived the first attack from "CURSED WINDEKU". At the 12th hit of the 1st round, he finally attacked "CURSED WINDEKU" but that was a big mistake. Because I told you before if any Melee-powered monster attacked this monster, the attacker gets some additional damage. So after "RADIATED SCORCHER" attacked him, it gets additional damage and lost the rest of its health, and died.

  • My opponent was brilliant enough to place the monster "LIVING LAVA" at the 3rd position. Because he knew, "LIVING LAVA" will be the one who will attack last in this battle so until then it will keep getting hits. So he used him at the 3rd position and just before his chance of attack comes, he was at the first position and attacked "CURSED WINDEKU" with 4 Melee power that damaged 4 health of him.

  • But I didn't understand why he kept his "Sneak" ability monster "TENYII STRIKER" wide open that two of my "Sneak" ability monsters "TARSA" and "TARSA" was hitting him since the first round. In the first round, "TENYII STRIKER" was attacked twice. As a result of those attacks, he lost a total of 3 health because "TARSA" has 2 Melee attack power and "TARSA" has 1. In the second round, again he lost 3 of his life. Now the question is why those two monsters of mine were hitting "TENYII STRIKER"? because they were also "Sneak" ability monster and monster with this ability always targets the last monster of the enemy row. But my opponent did a wrong decision placing "TENYII STRIKER" at the end of the row. Think of me, I used a monster "TARSA" at the end so that if there were any "Sneak" ability enemy monster, that will attack this monster first instead of "TARSA". And that actually happened. The enemy monster "TENYII STRIKER" waste two of his attack only to kill this monster.

  • My team's Melee-powered demon, "CURSED WINDEKU," was extremely low in health at the end of round one. He was still alive, but he had only one health point. However, in round two, he has the opportunity to assault "LIVING LAVA" and deal 1 Health damage. "CURSED WINDEKU" has 2 Melee power, that strike should have dealt 2 health damage. But "LIVING LAVA", on the other hand, has the "Shield" ability, which always lessens the damage from Melee and Ranged powered enemies. Then the enemy monster "SERPENTINE SPY", who has the "Opportunity" ability, attacks "CURSED WINDEKU", which was his dumbest move because it only has 2 health, and every time a Melee attack monster damages the health of him, the attacker receives an additional 2 injuries. Though "SERPENTINE SPY" destroyed my beast, he also predicted his own demise.

  • Oh, and don't forget the LEGENDARY Monster "ANCIENT LICH". He has demonstrated the full power of evil magic. He destroyed the hostile monster "CHAOS AGENT" with its 3 Magic attack power in round 1. That hostile monster has just 2 health, thus when he is damaged, he obtains an extra +1 health. However, when "ANCIENT LICH" attacks "LIVING LAVA" in round 2 and damages that 3 health, he obtains an additional +2 health. Do you understand why? Because this LEGENDARY Maniac possesses the "Life Leech" ability, which allows it to steal the life from the opponent creatures. Yes, when he destroys 3 health, he gains +2, and when he damages 2 or 1 health, he gains +1.

  • I lost my "TARSA" in round 2 and that brings a big threat for "TARSA". Because now he has come to the first position of the row and the dangerous Melee powered monster "TARSA" going to attack him. In round 3, The personification of fire "TARSA" attacked this magic-powered monster but was only able to damage his armor. But the Blast ability did the work. "TARSA" was adjacent to the "TARSA". So that ability was able to damage his health. As it has only one health, it died instantly. But honestly, I wasn't concerned about that. I was thinking that "TARSA" has damaged all the armor so "TARSA" is wide open for the monster from Molten Mountains, "TARSA". Now he can damage the 4 health of "TARSA". And there is no chance of him that he could dodge the attack of "TARSA" because his speed is very low. But not to worry. each round before "TARSA" attacks, my magic monster gets the chance to attack. so each time he was damaging 3 health of "TARSA" and also gaining +2 health. At the end of round 3, both of them attack each other, and "TARSA" was alive with only 1 health, and "TARSA" was alive with 5 health. So it was sure that, the victory will be mine.

  • Another monster was alive in my team and that was "TARSA" an entity from the shadow realm. It did extremely well in this battle. From round 1, it was continuously attacking the last monster of the enemy row "TARSA" and finally in round 3, he killed that monster.

  • Now it has already confirmed that I will win the battle. Because only one Melee-powered monster was alive and "TARSA" killed that monster so easily. And then only left a Ranged attack monster which can't attack from the first position. So It was an easy victory for me.
