At the card table again, practicing some light shuffle work whilst i keep my ligaments and reflexes tip top magoo.
I find this type of shuffle work very fun to do and it's part of my practice routine/drills. Of course as the practice progresses the exercises that one has to do becomes more advanced...also more demanding on the level of card handling.

Interesting hand and card action at 1:20. From the layman's perspective this appears to be a sloppy shuffle, but I'm wondering if that's where part of the magic occurred!

Pretty cool, I didn't know we had a magician around here! Lol. Fun stuff here! Shuffling cards is a cool thing, our son is amazed at it when I do it playing like Uno or something with him. I remember being fascinated with shuffling when I was his age!

In terms of the subject of sleight of hand with playing cards, it is a very fascinating subject. Maybe you should learn some basic card effects (we don't like to call it tricks, thats what laymen call it...it's an insult to be honest...because it implies all that it is is something designed to trick you, rather than entertain or more importantly, move one's spirits) from books like Card College, or the Royal Road to Card Magic.
Okay that was cool. I have no clue how you did that but I would like to take you to a couple of poker games. You be the dealer and we split whatever I make. I suck at poker but together we will be unstoppable. Until they beat the crap out of us in an alley when they inevitably figure it out.
