Cerberus Weekly Battle Challenge

Here's the ruleset

I happen to be working on my Fire Splinter focus which works well with the Melee Mayhem ruleset.

Lineup:

Summoner: Plado Emberstorm

When the new Chaos Legion summoners were released there was concern that Tarsa would be too powerful. Plado is that powerful.

Tank: Forgotten One

The Forgotten One is amazing. Pretty much an auto win in Noxious Fumes rulesets. The other part of Forgotten One that gets forgotten is those raw stats.

1st position: Cerberus

Cerberus is also amazing. The self heal ability comes in clutch for so many situations and to have all this for just 4 mana, it's no wonder this is the most expensive rare monster from the Alpha and Beta sets. Even without the self heal ability these are some fantastic raw stats.

2nd position: Scorch Fiend

2 damage each turn for 0 mana. The Scorch Fiend was made for this ruleset.

3rd position: Radiated Scorcher

Works a lot like Scorch Fiend but for 1 mana.

4th position: Kobold Bruiser

The Kobold Bruiser has terrific stats but isn't usually big enough to be your tank. Don't forget about this monster when you're in a Melee Mayhem, Super Sneak or Equal Opportunity ruleset.

5th position: Serpentine Spy

3 more damage for 3 more mana.

Did my strategy work?

Yes. The ruleset worked out very well for me here.

Do I like Cerberus?

Yes. I'm just renting this monster for today but hope that I can add one to my collection at some point.

What will I try differently next time?

I think that I would swap the positions of Scorch Fiend and Radiated Scorcher for that 1 extra health in front. It could potentially win me an extra attack from the pair if the next hit from my opponent is just 1 damage. Unlikely to be an issue but it would be a small improvement.
