Hill Giant Weekly Battle Challenge

Here's the ruleset

Lineup:

Summoner: Obsidian

Obsidian buffs all of my magic attacks. The cost is 1 higher than Alric but the dollar cost is wayyy lower. You can get a gold foil Obsidian for like $16 now.

Tank: Hill Giant

This a great tank in the Little League ruleset or in situations like this where you want to squeeze in more magic attackers.

1st position: Regal Peryton

This magic attack gets buffed by Obsidian. Also it can take a hit and can dodge a hit.

2nd position: Queen Mycelia

The Protect ability is so strong. I was not surprised to see my opponent adopt a similar strategy.

3rd position: Wood Nymph

Another magic attack that gets buffed by Obsidian and tank heal.

4th position: Goblin Sorcerer

This magic attack also has sneak.

Rear tank: Fungus Fiend

It doesn't get much better than 0 mana to soak up 2 hits from sneak attackers.

Did my strategy work?

Unfortunately it didn't. My opponent was prepared for the magic attack with Unicorn Mustang.

Do I like Hill Giant?

Yes. The Giant has a big body for just 3 mana. When leveled up for Silver it gets to 3 health and 2 melee. This is great when playing Little League or in a situation like this where the mana just isn't quite high enough for all the magic attackers you want to fit in.

What will I try differently next time?

It's usually not wrong to use Unicorn Mustang as your tank in the earth splinter. Hill Giant costs less mana but doesn't have void. Also the stats on Unicorn Mustang are incredible.
