You've started playing. Now what are some ways to start earning?

So you've opened an account. It's time to start playing. You've heard the expression that it takes money to make money. That may be true to some extent but you can earn a little without much investment in the game. I like to save up to buy cards for my collection but you can play with your ghost cards or rent cards which don't cost much.

How else can I earn?

The most efficient way that I've found to earn within the larger Splinterlands ecosystem is to share your experience. I like to do that here on PeakD but there are plenty of folks who earn with successful YouTube channels and through other social media outlets.

How else?

let's make a deal! NFTs can be bought and sold. I'm in the buying stage right now and keep adding to my Splinterlands card collection. Some folks have gone as far as creating bots to buy low and sell high within the Splinterlands market. I haven't seen any of the numbers but I'm guessing that these bots are more successful making money than the bots that play the game for you. Splinterlands has a fun and engaging economy.

It's possible to make money off the cards you're not playing with without even selling them. I mentioned earlier that you can rent cards to earn by playing the game. Suppose that I have an extra copy of a legendary card but don't have the third card to level up yet. I can play with 1 copy and rent out my second card. As my collection has grown card rentals have become an increasingly lucrative part of my Splinterlands journey.
