I hope you had a great day? Mine is going well with lots and lots of experiences. These experiences birth from a new skill I learnt today, the skill of gaming.

Today, I was so excited to join the league of Splinterland gamers in exhibiting my skills in this area. Yay! Though I lost after several trials of aiming to win, I wasn't bothered; rather, I was more excited to be able to find my way through in playing and to select a team of my choice. Below, I wish to share my experiences while I was playing; hoping that it'll inspire others to join this trend.

Before the game began at the splinterlands.com interface, one of the experiences I encountered was at the selection of my team; I was being timed for three minutes to select the players of my choice. This timing often begins immediately when you click the battle option to start the game. However, at the first instance, I didn't take notice of the duration, because I got distracted by how attractive the colorful cards were, so I lost my first battle due to the time elapsed.

After I had learnt my lesson, I became more conscious of the timing. Going further, it came to the time I had to select my players. I noticed that one card is being selected first, this is taken to be my "summoner". Then I went ahead to select other cards depending on the number of MANA given in the particular tournament. When this was SET, I clicked the green colored "battle" option. Boom! The game had begun. Surprisingly, after I kept playing repeatedly, I carefully took notes of the positions of the cards. I noticed that the positions of the cards depend on how I selected the cards for the game.

Furthermore, when the game began, I had intentions of playing with my opponents by myself; but I was amazed that after the selection and positioning of the cards, the game was automatically played for me. Indirectly, I learnt that I served as the coach of my team watching how each card performed.

One may wonder what is my gain and fun in playing the game. Interestingly, the game is seen as a GameFi (Game finance) platform. Before now, I always showcased my skills in the web2 gaming sessions but one thing that made the Splinterlands so unique is the ability to earn from gaming. I know any gamer who hears such offer wouldn't give a second thought than to join this amazing initiative.

So, one can be relieved from playing the game and also gain financial freedom while playing; what a BIG WIN!!!

Splinterlands game is termed the "next generation of collectible card games" in which allows players to collect, trade, and battle with provably scarce digital collectibles with real-world value. Battles on Splinterlands Unlike most trading card games, are fast and furious, and are usually completed within a few minutes. The Splinterlands gameplay is simple and easy to learn viz: reviewing combat rules, making and submitting of the team and watching the battle unfold.
