Splinterlands Fundition Reward Report

Intro

Splinterlands/Steemmonsters is a great game, and an awesome STEEM blockchain success story.
I was happy to support this project through the beta by buying over 1000 packs, and was equally excited about joining the kickstarter.

Since untamed was released, I was slowly opening packs until I finally said screw it for the last 50. I haven't combined or played any cards at all and have continued to play my beta cards. I plan to take a look at each card individually and decide what to do with them. That is, whether I want to combine, upgrade, burn, lease, or sell them. I may even post about it as I run through them.

Kickstarter Level

    I'm pretty much ambivalent about physical stuff, but I'm sure many will love something tangible. I will most likely put mine away in case they become collectable.

Artwork and Card Titles

I have to say that I like the beta style artwork more. The untamed artwork is a bit too subdued and computer-generated for my taste. I'm sure some will take the opposite view. Perhaps they will come up with some skins that make the Untamed cards look more beta.

At first glance, some of the card titles are cool, and some of them seem silly (by design perhaps?). Sniping Narwhal anyone?

Without Further Ado, Booster Pack Results

500 Packs = 2500 Cards
I used up my potion charges, but anecdotally I didn't notice much difference in the way golds and legendaries were dropping.

The ROI for 500 packs this close to the launch is a good sign, and actually higher than I was getting for the beta packs

That's it for now! For fun I will probably make a post about each card as I go through them. If you also participated in the kickstarter or bought a bunch of packs, I'm curious if your card breakdown is similar.
