WHY I AM PUTTING $4,000 INTO CHAOS LEGION PACKS!

WOW I am BEYOND EXCITED for the next week to come. Splinterlands Chaos Legion GENERAL SALE is coming - this means that anyone and everyone can purchase a pack of Chaos Legion cards without the need for a voucher. In fact, if you have a voucher and purchase a bulk number of packs, you actually get ADDITIONAL free packs!

I have not purchased any packs during the pre-sale. I didn't personally feel that the airdrops associated with the presale justified the additional cost of the vouchers. While I enjoy the game very much, I do also see Splinterlands as an investment in my crypto portfolio and, as such, needed to make the financial decision that was best for me personally. When I did very simple conservative math, in order for the presale to be worth the vouchers, the three airdrop cards: Dr. Blight, BAAKJIRA, and Uriel, would need to have values higher than their current market value on Peakmonsters.com.

WITH that being said, I've been very very patiently waiting for the general sale to open up. It's felt like I've been sitting on the sidelines while I watch prominent streamers like Infidel, Bulldog, Luke, and AfterSounds open exciting packs! Now, it's finally time - I plan on making a large - of course "large" is always relative - purchase on day 1 of the general sale to get at LEAST 1000 chaos legion packs.

FIRST AND FOREMOST - I believe in Splinterlands. I think that there is a big future in the game, and that we are only at the beginning of a large wave coming soon. And as the game continues to grow, the value of a pack of sold-out cards will grow. Let's take for example the Untamed packs. Yes - there were fewer packs released vs. Chaos Legion's fifteen MILLION, but the same supply/demand principle applies. I DO believe the Chaos Legion packs will sell out within 6 months, and at that point in time, there will be no more additional supply of packs sold at four dollars. When the four dollar supply is no longer available, it becomes a free market for buyers and sellers. If Chaos legion is anything like Untamed packs, the price of these packs can ten times or more over time. While I plan to open packs, I do also plan to hold some for value growth. This belief that the pack value will grow only applies if you believe in the game and the leaders steering the ship

SECOND - Card Airdrops! When the general sale starts, ONLY 3 of the 14 airdrops will have been given out. This means that there are 11 more airdrops ready to be distributed to players that purchased packs through Splinterlands.com. WITHIN these 11 more airdrops, there will at LEAST be 6 legendary summoners. Let's look to history for the value of legendary airdrop summoners - Scarred llama mage and Yodin being the two most prominent. How much are they worth as of today? $522 for Scarred llama mage and $722 for Yodin. These are the lowest single card price as of this writing and recording. Imagine they keep the same airdrop rate of a guaranteed airdrop per 300 packs. If i purchase 1200 packs, that's 4 copies of each legendary summoner AND 5 other airdrop cards. Even if only two of the cards grow in value similar to Yodin and Llama, that's 4 times 522 plus 4 times 722, which equals $4,976. Almost $5000! That completely covers the cost of the 1200 packs! All of this is speculation of course, but in what I consider a conservative prediction, there's a high probability of a significant return on investment. Spoiler alert: the next two airdrops have been revealed!

THIRD - SPS Airdrops and airdrop points. EACH pack is worth 300 airdrop points. Some of y'all might ask, what does that actually mean? Splinterlands has been airdropping SPS tokens to their players for the last six months. Depending on your airdrop points vs. the collective pool, you get a portion of that daily SPS airdrop. There is still half a year more of this airdrop, meaning that there is continuous rewards given out daily for holding Splinterlands assets! Buying 1000 packs will give you 1000 times 300 airdrop points, which is three hundred thousand points. This is significantly more than i currently have, which will increase the SPS tokens airdropped to me daily! Not only do I expect the value of chaos legion packs to grow, but i get rewarded by holding on to the packs - at least for the next six months.

There you have it! My three biggest reasons to spend over $4000 on Splinterlands chaos legion packs. Like I mentioned earlier, I believe in the growth and expansion of this game, and that's why I believe this is not only a decision to elevate my game, but it's also a smart investment decision to grow my crypto assets.
