Dark Astronomer | Splinterlands Fanart [ENG/FIL]

The reason I chose to create or sketch a fanart of Dark Astronomer is because it piqued my interest, she reminds me somewhat of Evil Wanda in Dr. Strange suit. I love how ominous she looks and lovely at the same time, the glaring purple eyes and that rock and roll sign with spell but this time around i sketch her with my own version of like semi-realistic anime portrait.

• Ang dahilan kung bakit pinili kong gawan o iguhit ang fanart ni Dark Astronomer kasi nakuha or napukaw nito ang aking interes, naalala ko yung evil wanda na naka Dr. Strange Suitparang ganon yung tingin ko sa kanya ewan ko sa tingin ko sakin lang. Gusto ko din yung ominous look nya at sya ay kaibig-ibig din, yung titig nya na may kulay lila na liwanag at ang rock and roll sign na may mga scriptures ng spell na nakalutang, pero sa pagkakataong ito ginawan ko sya ng sariling version ko na may semi-realistic anime.

🕐 FIRST STEP ☝️ | LINEART

Since this is an anime-style/semirealistic i still sketch or started with the lineart, i am slowly getting better each time, looks like my penalty for creating 60 quality posts is paying-off where i chose that all my posts are regarding artworks. Now moving on, i started drawing the lines from the face then the hair and lastly the body, i used 6 thickness soft pressure pen in photoshop.

• Dahil ito ay isang anime-style o semirealistic ginawan ko parin ng sketch ang lineart, mukhang unti unti akong mas nagiging better o mas gumagaling habang tumatagal, mukhang yung penalty ko na 60 days of quality posts ay nagbunga na, kasi pinili ko talaga na lahat ng posts ko ay tungkol sa artwork or sining sa pagguhit. Ngayon, sinimulan ko ang mukha na iguhit sunod ay ang buhok at ang panghuli ay ang katawan, gumamit ako ng 6 na kapal na soft pressure pen sa photoshop

🕑 SECOND STEP ✌️ | BASE COLOR FOR THE SUBJECT

Then after the lineart, i started coloring the face with skin tone and putting basic details which i will defined later on. Next is the hair with light brown base color, and lastly i just color-picked Dark Astronomer's suit color, then use it to color the clothes.

• Pagkatapos ng lineart, sinimulan kong kulayan ng skintone ang mukha at nilagyan ko na din ng ibang mga basic na detalye na mamaya ay mas aayusin ko. Sunod ay ang buhok na may light brown na base color, at ang panghuli ay ang katawan o suot ni Dark Astronomer, nicolorpick ko lang yung suot na original ni Dark Astronomer

🕒 THIRD STEP 👌 | RENDERING

This is the step before the last, but usually it is the last step in every drawing process but i always tend to add some additional details depending on my mood or perception of the finish artwork. Okay, the rendering part always gave the artwork life this is where you add shades and highlights. First, i shade the hair part with black color (set at 42% opacity), then on the clothes i used the dark blue color (set at 51% opacity). Lastly is i add the highlights, on the whole artwork, i used white color (set at 37% opacity).

• ***Ito ang step o hakbang bago ang huli, pero kadalasan ito ang huling step ng lahat ng drawing process pero madalas akong magdagdag ng mga minor details pagkatapos kong marender ang artwork. Okay, sa pagrender ay dito nyo kadalasan makikita ang paglagay ng shades at highlights. Una nishadean ko ang buhok ng kulay black (yung opacity nya ay 42%), sunod yung damit na dark blue ( yung opacity nya ay 51%). Panghuli ay naglagay ako ng highlights sa buong artwork, ginamit ko ay kulay white ( yung opacity nya ay 37%).

🕓 FOURTH STEP 🤞✌️| ADDING SMALL DETAILS

This is simply adding little touches after rendering the artwork, such as in this case, because I am not yet pleased with the finished product, I add the illuminating purple lights on her eyes as well as some purple rays surrounding it.
