I would like to greet everyone reading my post and introduce myself. I guess this is the first time I am using this hive platform for blogging purposes. I did blog in the past but almost always gave up. I found this platform through splinterlands. To be honest I wouldn't have come here to blog but as I am feeling super depressed I thought I might give it a try. One of the reasons why I was feeling depressed was because my splinterland account got hacked, all my DEC, SPS and nfts were taken away by the hacker today so all of my months of effort amounted to nothing. But maybe I can recoup some of those losses through blogging and get my account back in shape. So here is a brief intro....

I am 34 years old and currently waiting for the covid pandemic to be over so that I can return back to my family whom I have been away from for more than 2 years. One of the main resons why I cant return at the moment is due to the airports being under lockdown. Another reason why I am looking forward to this epidemic to die down is so that I can once again get back to work. I love technology and have been an avid gamer since an early age. So it was easy for me to pick up on nft based games especially Splinterland which happens to be one of my favorites to play.

When I am not playing splinterland I usually spend my time talking online with my little girl or reading comic books. You can sometimes find me on discord in the different NFT based community channels as well. I think I am going to blog regularly from now on in order to not only help me in my current situation but also recoup my losses. Hopefully my blogging will help me get back on my feet.

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works. For instance, there's a post in the collection called 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive that you might find helpful.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). yo jy! :) i'm real happy to see u posting more on here. I wouldn't have taken a second look at Hive if not for u asking me to vote on ur first post. very cool. I feel ur covid pain, too.. my wife and son are also in another country and I won't get to see them for a bit. just keep on going and take some solace here on hive..
