It feels like Splinterlands is having a pauze at the moment. Or is something new cooking?

You guys all know I absolutely love Splinterlands as a game and as and as a company grinding towards the next phase. Over the last couple of years every move has been well calculated and working towards a next phase which has been even better calculated or well developed. There is always something in process, even though it is behind the scenes.

But at this moment Splinterlands feels like there is a gap in the next move and because of this people are losing some interest in it. Okay, the reality of course is that I am looking at this from my own perspective and that I am losing interest at the moment because a lot of life is getting in the way of my playing time, so I am not really sure about it.

These were my season rewards from last week. And okay even though they are not the best of rewards, honestly they are also not the worst in there with still getting a pack as well.

But when I am looking at how the rental markted is behaving (this always feels to me like a good marker on how the general interest in the game is), the last couple of days have not been that big as you can see.

Now this ofcourse is always dependent on where we are in the season as you can always see that around season start people are not that hyped up so will not be renting that many cards as at the end of the season, but these are the rental earnings from the end of previous season

It feels different right?

Now again, this is all a matter of perception and maybe my perception is different because I am just not really in the game at the moment. But also the proposals coming in about burning Chaos cards, and also buying chaos and riftwatchers by the bulk feels a bit to mee like the cards are being dumped? Do you feel the same or am I just doomsday thinking at the moment?

So normally what Splinterlands does really well is work the hype and always have an incentive for someone to save up for something or give them a reeason to buy cards and packs.

But at the moment the fight between DEC and SPS isnt getting me in the clear of where we are going and which will be the more prominent one. In other words, with the expansion of land coming in combination with the tower defense cards I guess, we don't know what we should be saving up to? And when there is no saving up, there is no hype.

What I do like at the moment is the combo of Genesis League Sports and SPS leading up to also getting the GLX token. Did you guys know already that Splex which I use as an auto rental bot also has the option to auto claim and restake your GLX every hour? Since nothing is happening there at the moment, this seems like the most wise thing for me to do for now.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not being pessimistic at all about Splinterlands because this is still my favorite go to game and I really believe they have a good team working over there with good intentions.

But I am also saying that I hope that something will happen in the future to get the people drawn towards Splinterlands again and to get the moral good again in this bear market. Land should be the next step in here

i think it was just to crazy for a while. every few weeks there was something new and that would be hard to keep up even if crypto market was fine.

i still have the not legal to play problem and i am lazy to use VPN all the time so i am on a brake. maybe they will fix my problem so i will get into it again.

Rentals dropped last week, but the price of DEC went up, so maybe that is the reason.
