No Airdrop cards this time, but damn what an amount of cards

The second phase of the presale of Splinterlands has ended which means another airdrop of cards is being unlocked. Even better this time, two oppertunities of receiving an airdrop have been unlocked. Last time I was the happy person to receive 4 Dr Blight cards which seemed more than reasonable to my 117 packs of cards, this time there was a lot less luck.

Can't win em all every time right?

I didn't receive any cards from the airdrops this time which is really a bummer because the value of these dropped cards has always been very good. In other words, you always want to have these babies.

Lost in cards

I have noticed that from a collectors kind of perspective I am super happy with the amount of different cards that I own. But I am also noticing that when I am trying to form some teams in my games, I am having difficulties choosing from the gigantic amount of cards, and I tend to scroll back to the cards which I already know how they function and are successful versus levelling up new cards and trying those out.

Especially when I am playing brawls and I am limited to a certain deck of for instance Untamed cards, but in the combination with the Gladius cards whcih you get with them, this is the best way to try out what these cards are doing and maybe integrate them a bit more in my normal playing.

From a finance kind of perspective you can see that the price of DEC is stabilizing which is good (the peg was long gone for a while) and also the price of vouchers has reached a normal kind of levels. It is good to see that these levels will just be the ones from where on you have to work. A bit of stability is not a bad thing.

It really sucks that Hive-engine doesn't seem to be working on my desktop anymore (which still does on my phone) but tribaldex seems the place to be for working on it now. Anyone know the pros and cons from both of these?

Also the price of my general collection of cards seems stabilized by now which is about half the price as it once has been, but again....This seems reasonable when the hype settles in a bit.

I am hoping in the future aridrops will fall on me again and also the price of the game picks up again which would be fair when you see the amounts of transaction per day on splinterlands.

Enough to work with for the next couple of months!

Tribaldex is kind of the new and improved hive engine. You can direct swap and also play pool manager :)

Odds to get new airdrop cards will only go down from here, only way to insure drops is to buy more packs, 300 it was this time, next time most likely 325 and so on.

Imo prices will continue to drop till CL sells out and from there they will rise again. People say it could be in 24h, I am thinking more a month or more.

Not believing at all that these packs will sell out that fast, I think it might even token more than a couple of months depending on the status with the land and the next new feature that will roll out. 16 millions packs is a lot, especially when you see a lot of players haven't bought any, but most likely they will also nog be the players to buy several 100s of packs. A couple of months is my guess. Indeed, when the packs sell out again, then the price swing will change for sure.

Aha pooling on tribaldex as well? Okay maybe I will give it a shot here and there as hopefully the fees will not be so painful as pooling for instance on uniswap or so. But uhh...kinda centralized right in one team of hands, because that is one of the things I why I don't like keep stuff on hive engine honestly.

Hope all is well there up north and that the snow gods are treating yall well there!
