Those are some decent season rewards actually

Today was the second Splinterlands end of reason since the battle rules have changed for a bit. And with the rules changing, this also means that the rewards are changing. Is change always a bad thing? Well actually I don't think so in many cases, and this set of change of rules hasn't turned out for the worst if you ask me

I guess for the Champon player this will give you a bit of a laugh, but for the simple player as myself, I am very happy with these rewards. Especially the DEC rewards are super nice. I mean 11728 DEC = $6.711 = 16 HIVE just for playing a game you were always already playing. I still find it hilarious.

As said I am happy with the change in Focus points and season points. Initially the first season was a baller to be. It felt like I got endless rewards, but that was mostly because I had started in Bronze after doing a couple seasons of not so much playing. I rode up pretty fast and the FP per battle that I won were a lot.

Needless to stay you can't always have it that way, and ofcourse this wasn't the case. I ended up in Diamond which means I got thrown back into Silver at the end of season and that was a big battle to start with. Because I needed a lot more FP for a chest than the season before it felt like I would never got there, which was a bit discouraging to begin with. But once the season had fulyl started, the levels levelled out again..

Actually that is almost always the deal. The first couple of days you get slashed big time by the big boys, and that gets settles out after a day or 5 and then you can get back to getting daily chests again with rewards in there.

In the guild category I also got some nice reward cards again, I am stacking the guild cards slowly but surely. The most funny thing I read somewhere is that there would also be more Gladius cards in the daily rewards, did I understand this correct? And that the DEC rewards in the chests would reduce, giving more room for potions and Gladius cards.

This is interesting because I always thought that Galdius cards were solely for guild players, thats also why you cant get them on the market and rental market.

Anyone know what is the deal going on?

Gladius cards won't be in rewards. Just possibly "merits" which when you have enough can be used in Guild Stores to buy Gladius card packs. I think? I might be wrong so don't quote me on it.

Ow yeah that was the deal indeed! Getting merits in packs where you can buy the gladius packs from. True to that!
