Won 300 in Kobold Mining Expediton tournament -22-1-2020.jpg

I started my day at the battle field participating in a tournament where over 200 fighters entered for and I was able to win 300 DEC by coming 13th place.

Not bad, but I could have done better as I took a risk that didn’t work in my favor at the end of the day.

Daily Quest Battle - Day 81.jpg

Daily Quest battles

I started my daily quest with 3600+ points in the bag and I felt I should be able to hit the next league after completing my daily quest but it wasn’t to be so. I got the Life Splinter which I do well at the moment but it turned out to be you win one you lose on type of day and by the completion of the daily quest I had gone below the 3600+ points I started with.

I decided to do some more battles and see if I can cross the 3.5k point. However, I flunked the first battle and met the Lego man (@michealb) in the second battle and he gave me the beating of the day so I just decided to call it a day. Lol. I sensed these were the type of battles that drag you down two leagues if care is not take as you keep trying to gain points but end up making loads of mistakes because of the tension and pressure to succeed. As Bob Marley sang in one of his songs “…he who fights and runs away, live to fight another day…”. So guys, “I’ll be back”, I said that in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s voice. Lol.

Daily quest rewards with potion - Day 81.jpg
Rewards day 81

I got just one Epic card, 2 Rare cards and a load of common cards. Needless to say that I and really having the feeling now that without the potions the rewards are not looking so good, but I’ll still give it probably some more days, at least I went four days without the Gold and Legendary cards even with the potions so day 2 without the potions and not getting those juicy cards shouldn’t be a source of worry for now. Lol.

Today, I am posting a battle in which the Lego man beat me and I think this is the first time I am showing a battle where I lost. I do loose big time and I learn from those loses to help me improve on my game. Sometimes I watch them over 3 more times to help me understand the logic at play.

You can watch my last battle today with @michealb using the link below, thanks:

It is very nerve wrecking and tense in tournament battles. Great to hear your son is doing great at the games. It is entertaining and can keep them engaged. Thanks for the thumbs up. I hope not to see you in battles because I see you are well loaded. Lol
