Newbie Advice From a Newbie - Death Splinter (Post Corrected/Content Added - Sorry!)
OK guys and gals, this newbie is retired. So when I'm not writing articles, I'm playing Splinterlands. As with all newbies, most of my current game play is spent struggling through different combinations of cards to choose for battle that provide a high percentage of wins - consistently. Mind you now, I did not say this was a 100% deal I'm giving you. But the following combination of three cards yield me consistent good results.
So, what I do, I play the following three cards, in this order, at some spot within my battle card lineup:
- Haunted Spirit (Mana = 5)
- Twisted Jester (Mana = 4)
- Undead Priest (Mana = 2)
***Photos of the three cards above sourced from CardAuctionz Market
So assuming you use a regular Summoner (Mana = 3) your minimum mana battle total is 14 - not bad and therefore can be used in most battles. But if you are stuck and can not use all three, don't panic. The two card combination of Haunted Spirit and Twisted Jester is not shabby, providing not too terrible results either.
When I find combinations that work (or at least work for me) I plan to continue posting them to help all the other noobs out there. Use this combination and keep an eye on your win percentage. I think you will be pleased with the results.
Keep playing Splinterlands all, enjoy the game, and by all means have fun!
Tricky tricky.
Yeah, unintentional. I hit the enter key by accident.
It's fixed now as I've added the intended content.

I have fought this line up many times and it does kick my butt often. 😅
Yes, I have found it to be a good one.

Nice! Did you have to buy those cards, rent them or what? I still don't really know what is available to me lol

They should be in the deck you got with the Summoner's Handbook.
