Hello Splinterlands Gamers!

Today I come to you with my duel weekly challenge.
The hero of this post is of course the Pirate Captain!

THEME: PIRATE CAPTAIN
Edition: ALPHA/BETA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: WATER
Attack: RANGED
Abilities: SNIPE//INSPIRE AT LEVEL 6

The Ruleset

Mana - 40
The only element you could choose was Fire, Water, and Earth.
Spreading Fury: All Monsters have the Enrage ability.
Reverse Speed: Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

The Strategy:

1. Use all mana.
2. Select as many Monsters as possible.
3. As I play silver most people choose water, therefore the best answer will be to choose Bortus.
4. Select units with a speed within 2/3 in order to attack the enemy faster
5. Choose the strongest composition possible and don't mess up the setup.

Bortus Summoner- All enemy Monsters have -1 Magic damage.

1. Elven Defender: Speed of 2, Melee attack of 2, Health of 8 +3 Armor.

2. Djinn Oshamnus: Void - Speed of 5, Magic attack of 2, Health of 10. Reduces damage from Magic attacks.

3. Venari Wavesmith: Protect - Speed of 2, Magic attack of 1, Health of 3. All friendly monsters gain +2 Armor.

4. Crustacean King: Tank Heal - Speed of 1, Health of 2 + 1 Armor. Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.

5. Axemaster: Double Strike - Speed of 4, Ranged attack of 2, Health of 5. Monser attacks twice each round.

6. Theme Monster PIRATE CAPTAIN: Snipe - Speed of 2, Ranged attack of 1, Health of 3. Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.
   
   

The Battle

1. At the very beginning my Axemaster destroys the opposite Failed Summoner.
   
   

2. In the next round again Axemaster shows his power and easily gets rid of the opposite Unicorn Mustang.
   
   

3. In response to this the opposite Gargoya Devil kills my Elven Defender, of course only because he is lucky.
   
   

4. As the next round begins, Venari destroys the Devil and thus manages to avenge the Defender's death.
   
   

5. In the next round again Venari dominates the opponent and destroys the enemy unit.
   
   

6. Again comes the moment of glory for the Axemaster who crushes the opposing bias.
   
   

7. In the final round it's the turn of our superhero, the Pirate Captain, to take out the last enemy unit in beautiful style.
   
   

The Battle Result

Unfortunately, this time I was wrong and my opponent didn't choose water cards, but due to the strategy of bod extra armor and units with lots of health, I managed to dominate him in 5 rounds losing only one unit. My opponent's problem was that he focused on fighting Mages, while I chose a mixed composition allowing both magic and physical attacks. All in all the fight was very easy and I feel a slight disappointment with the level of the player at rating 1800.

The battle ended in four rounds!
