Why you should join a Guild in Splinterlands!

Today we are going to go over what are guilds and what you should join one.

As you can see, when you scroll through the guild's list, there are hundreds of guilds currently active.

Guild is a clan and a hang-out space for your team, and when you join one, you notice you will get your guild tag underneath your name when you start a battle.

So what are the major benefits?

The first benefit you will receive when you join a guild is the discounts. The higher the guild level, the better discounts you will receive. For example, this guild over here has a lodge level 9, which provides you with an extra 15% DEC per game and also gives you 8% shop discounts. This doesn't include packs, but you can use this to get discounts on potions (Legendary/Alchemy/etc)

Another reason you want to join a guild is the Arena feature. This is something you won't have access to until you join a guild. In a nutshell, Arena is where you take part as a team and go against another guild and see which guild can accumulate the most amounts of wins during the brawl event.

The store is another good reason you should join a guild. You will gain access to a guild-only store where you will purchase a Gladius Case, which is a special type of card packs you can only purchase by using merits. Merits are earned by participating in arenas. You won't be able to trade these gladius cards but they are excellent for accumulating collection power.

The last reason you should join a guild is the community. Having the ability to hang out with people that have the same interest in you can really help boost the overall playing experience. Under the “GUILDS” you will find many Guild Master recruiting new members, or other members looking to join a guild.
