Hello @splinterlands family! @legalizabrazil here to present a composition to get ready for MODERN RANKED! As we know Splinterlands is preparing an update were they will introduce a whole new Ranked Mode that will accept only MODERN FORMAT cards! In order to get ready, in this post i will introduce a composition to reach easily the Bronze I League.

• INTRODUCTION •

This tutorial is for newcomers to help them to achieve BRONZE II and start to get rewards and also show the potential to reach BRONZE I with this same composition, using cards that will be available in the upcoming MODERN RANKED.

Of curse this build can be optimized in order to spent less and still be capable of reach BRONZE I, but this is a thing that you will learn with experience and eventually realize what you can do to improve your composition.

For this tutorial i'm gonna use my alt account @tutorialsplinter, starting at 0 rating in Novice League. We're going to spent less than 40 DEC renting the cards.

• MODERN RANKED •

As i said, we're going to use cards that will be available at the upcoming MODERN RANKED in order to practice and get ready for it.

The MODERN RANKED will be composed by the last editions... Dice, Untammed, Chaos Legion and Rewards(from the latest editions). This means that we will not use any Alpha, Beta or Promo cards.

• PICKING THE CARDS •

You can chose to buy or rent the cards, but in either way i recommend to use @peakmonsters in order to get the cards you need. If you want to rent go to the Peakmonsters Rental Tab or if you're going to buy go to Peakmonsters Buy Tab also want to remember if you buy the cards you will earn $PKMs token at the proportion of US$10 = 1 $PKM.

Peakmonster is by far the best front-end to buy or rent cards, they have filters and bulks to help you to find and order all the card you want the fast as possible.

• SETING THE FILTERS •

In the right corner of Peakmonsters Rental Tab you can select the MODERN FORMAT filter, that way only the MODERN FORMAT cards will be showing to you. That is one of the greatest things at @peakmonsters, so in order to be more easy to find the cards make sure to select this filter.

In the Rarity filter we are goin to select the CARDS LVL. We are going to pass all the way trough the BRONZE LEAGUE, so in order to optimize our win rate we will rent cards for the BRONZE LEAGUE lvl cap. As the image shows, Commom lvl 3,Rare lvl 2, Epic lvl 1 and Legendary lvl 1. Ps.: We can use Epic lvl 2, but this increase the price and isn't a must need, the lvl 1 epic is enough.

You can tag as favorite the cards for the next time you need them, once you find the ones click on the cart and they will go to your bulk. I recommend to click in all the cards you need and make only one transaction. After all cards selected you will open the Bulk and set to 1 DAY DURATION, you can choose more days it's your choice. To finish you will pay by using your DEC.

Ps.: I do rent for 1 day because if you didn't play for more than 24 hours, the next time you play and finish a daily quest you will be able to receive a new quest.

THE EARTH MODERN COMPOSITION

In this next image i will show a complete picture of all cards that we will need and the ones that i rented. Remember that some of them aren't priority but in this tutorial i have rented all of them.

THE MAIN STRATEGY

This build is based at the Obisidian summoner and his Magic Buff ability, so in order to make the most of the composition we're going to use a lot of magical damage monsters. The ones that aren't magic monsters will be used to fill the board when remains any mana to spend.

HIGHLIGHT CARDS

Obisidian is the summoner of this composition, his Magic Buff ability will improve most cards of this comp and they will be able to hit more during the battles.

Queen Mycelia is one of the most OP cards of this composition because of the fortify ability, she will give +1 shield to all your monsters at the field, avoiding the first physical damage in your monsters.

Unicorn Mustang is the main tank for high mana cap battles, he has a magical damage ability who will mitigate the incoming magical hits. Since modern has a lot of magic build he is a excellent choice.

Hill Giant as the tank for low mana cap battles or little league rule, he has a good life by the mana cost of 3.

Fungus Fiend is a very useful card because of his 0 mana cost, he will be played at first or last position in order to mitigate the first damage or a sneak attack.

Mycelic Morphoid also takes the same roll, in first or last position. I recommend the last position to counter sneak monsters with his thorns ability.

Goblin Psychic is a must have in a high mana battle, with his heal ability he will sustain the tank an also hit hard with his 2 magical damage.

Magi of Chaos and Sporcerer has the same propose which is hit hard with they 2 magical damage, Sporcerer is the priority due his shield remove ability.

• THE ROAD TO BRONZE I •

In the early Novice League you don't need to use the earth composition, you can choose any element because all of them will be lvl 1. You will must need to use the earth composition after reach BRONZE III. Until BRONZE II you will play standard battles and after that you will play battles with a lot of rules.

From this moment at BRONZE III we will have the cards at the BRONZE LEAGUE level cap.

BRONZE III Finished with 100% Win-rate. We are now at Bronze II and from here we start to receive DEC as reward for the battles.

And we have done it! 699 + Rating with 88% of win rate. We can't pass to Bronze I because of our low CP.

• CONCLUSION •

We can keep advancing our rating with this composition until Silver III rating (1000+) but we will haven't enough CP to advance our leagues. But keep in mind that your main objective as a newcomer is to have 15k CP preferably bought, to reach Silver III.

To buy enough CP to reach Silver League you will spent about US$45 with today's price.

As final consideration, some rented cards wasn't used so you can for sure decrease the value of the DEC spent. This is a deck for rush, so i hope you understand that this isn't a perfect deck, but he do the Job!

Para se preparar, neste post vou apresentar a composição para chegar facilmente à Liga Bronze I.

Claro que essa build pode ser otimizada para gastar menos e ainda ser capaz de chegar ao BRONZE I, mas isso é algo que você aprenderá com a experiência e eventualmente perceberá o que pode fazer para melhorar sua composição.

Para este tutorial, vou usar minha conta alt @tutorialsplinter, começando com 0 de classificação na Novice League. Vamos gastar menos de 40 DEZ alugando os cartões.

Como eu disse, vamos usar cartas que estarão disponíveis no próximo MODERN RANKED para praticar e se preparar para isso.

No filtro Rarity vamos selecionar os CARDS LVL. Vamos passar por toda a BRONZE LEAGUE, então para otimizar nossa taxa de vitórias vamos alugar cartas para o lvl cap da BRONZE LEAGUE. Como mostra a imagem, Commom lvl 3,Rare lvl 2, Epic lvl 1 e Legendary lvl 1. Ps.: Podemos usar Epic lvl 2, mas isso aumenta o preço e não é uma necessidade obrigatória, o lvl 1 épico é suficiente.

Você pode marcar como favoritos os cartões para a próxima vez que precisar deles, assim que os encontrar clique no carrinho e eles irão para o seu volume. Eu recomendo clicar em todos os cartões que você precisa e fazer apenas uma transação. Após todas as cartas selecionadas você vai abrir o Bulk e definir para 1 DAY DURAÇÃO, você pode escolher mais dias a sua escolha. Para finalizar você pagará usando seu DEC.

Ps.: eu alugo por 1 dia porque se você não jogou por mais de 24 horas, na próxima vez que você jogar e terminar uma missão diária você poderá receber uma nova missão.

THE EARTH MODERN COMPOSITION

Nesta próxima imagem mostrarei uma imagem completa de todos os cartões que precisaremos e os que aluguei. Lembre-se que alguns deles não são prioritários, mas neste tutorial eu aluguei todos eles.

A PRINCIPAL ESTRATÉGIA

Esta compilação é baseada no invocador Obisidian e seu Magic Buff, então para aproveitar ao máximo a composição vamos usar muito dano mágico . Os que não são monstros mágicos serão usados ​​para encher o tabuleiro quando sobrar mana para gastar.

CARTÕES DE DESTAQUE

Obisidian é o invocador desta composição, sua habilidade Magic Buff melhorará a maioria das cartas desta composição e eles poderão acertar mais durante as batalhas.

Rainha Mycelia é uma das cartas mais OP dessa composição por causa da habilidade de fortificar, ela dará +1 de escudo para todos seus monstros no campo, evitando o primeiro dano físico em seus monstros.

Unicorn Mustang é o tanque principal para batalhas de alto limite de mana, ele tem uma habilidade de dano mágico que mitiga os acertos mágicos recebidos. Como o moderno tem muita construção mágica ele é uma excelente escolha.

Hill Giant como o tanque para batalhas de baixo limite de mana ou regra da liga pequena, ele tem uma boa vida pelo custo de mana de 3.

Fungus Fiend é uma carta muito útil devido ao seu custo de mana 0, ele será jogado na primeira ou na última posição para mitigar o primeiro dano ou um ataque furtivo.

Mycelic Morphoid também faz o mesmo teste, na primeira ou na última posição. Eu recomendo a última posição para combater monstros furtivos com sua habilidade de espinhos.

Goblin Psychic é um item obrigatório em uma batalha de alta mana, com sua habilidade de cura ele sustentará o tanque e também acertará com força com sua 2 de dano mágico.

Magi of Chaos e Sporcerer tem a mesma proposta que é duramente atingida com eles 2 de dano mágico, Sporcerer é a prioridade devido a sua habilidade de remoção de escudo.

• O CAMINHO PARA O BRONZE I •

No início da Novice League você não precisa usar a composição da terra, você pode escolher qualquer elemento porque todos eles serão lvl 1. Você precisará usar a composição da terra após atingir o BRONZE III. Até BRONZE II você jogará batalhas padrão e depois disso você jogará batalhas com muitas regras.

A partir desse momento iremos usar as cartas com o lvl para a liga BRONZE.

BRONZE III finalizado com 100% de win rate. A partir de agora no BRONZE II iremos receber recompensa em DEC.

E conseguimos! 699+ com 88% de Winrate. Nós são não passamos para o Bronze I por causa do CP insuficiente.

• CONCLUSÃO •

Podemos continuar avançando nossa classificação com esta composição até a classificação Prata III (1000+), mas não teremos CP suficiente para avançar nossas ligas. Mas lembre-se de que seu principal objetivo como iniciante é ter 15k CP preferencialmente comprados, para chegar ao Silver III.

Para comprar CP suficiente para chegar à Silver League você gastará cerca de US$ 45 com o preço de hoje.

Como consideração final, alguns cartões alugados não foram utilizados, então com certeza você pode diminuir o valor do DEC gasto. Este é um deck para rush, então espero que você entenda que este não é um deck perfeito, mas ele faz o trabalho!
