Passing the $10k milestone

During the last three months I have been focusing on 'high end' cards as I believed these to be undervalued when considering their rarity and utility. Acquiring a set of legendary Untamed summoners proved to be a big boost to rental income and I was fortunate to pick these up before the market really began to heat up in the last week or so.
As a result of big market moves in the last few days, I have seen my collection grow past $10,000 market value, which is very exciting to see. Keeping my rental earnings in HIVE has also helped increase my yields massively because of the recent bull run that HIVE has been on. These gains will be re-invested back into building my collection to help other players leverage up their decks in ranked and competitive play.
But the real catch of the year so far was picking up this GF Prince Rennyn for $250 just three weeks ago. Right now there is only one card listed on the market for over $500,000!! Which explains why the 'total value' of my collection is so out of whack. Congrats to @megaeoz5 who is currently renting this card for $0.05 per day. What a bargain!! I hope this is helping you dominate in the bronze and silver leagues.

It is very obvious that many people do not bother to check the gold foil rental markets because they assume that regular foil rentals are significantly cheaper. The fact is, you can often find high-end gold foil cards at a surprisingly small premium compared to their regular counterparts - if you're lucky sometimes you can even find gold foil rentals that are CHEAPER than the regular foils.

Thanks for the mention, I see at least two of my accounts in this list the viniciotricolor played by me, and the rusbe played by another real player, I also see many accounts that use bot for renting cards, if on the one hand this is bad on the other it can be good.
Delegate The Vigilator after losing to a player who used it, so I decided to rent and test the possibilities of use, it's something I like about the game, you have the possibility to test almost all cards without having them.

I don't really focus on single bcx regular legendaries because I assume other whales would flood the market with them. So I have been pleasantly surprised to see some of my 'spare' cards getting rented by people like yourself.

haha nice to see myself in this little sparrow list, 100% agree that gold cards are overlooked while they bring much value especially from a renting perspective. 1. dec bonus 2. value to total power and therefor higher league= more rewards 3. higher level 4.like you mentioned often still not expensive or even cheaper when comparing with same lvl non-gold. Thanks for providing these cards!

I just noticed I made a mistake with the sparrow tier, it should say >=$0.001 but no matter.
the DEC bonus really snowballs over time! I think at the current rental prices, GF decks give much greater returns on 'x' number of battles versus just using regular foils, but not everyone sees it yet. Some of the % rental rates on popular regular foils are crazy.
Yeah sure does, although for me as a beginner the power increase is probably the biggest one, combined with having a much better set to pick from, gonna make the most of it while we still can and hope you make some good gains in return :-)
good point about collection power, it's not something i really think about but you're right. it's hard to quickly and cheaply go up in collection power without renting gold foils.
BTW if you're ever interested in renting a set of 5 or more cards from me, PM me on the splinterlands discord and we can work out a bulk discount. i have lots of $0.001 p/d commons and rares looking for a good player
