Splinterlands - The Game Is Evolving...

On some levels Splinterlands is still the same as it was when it first started. The whole quick matches and complexity in formation setups is what makes the game so wildly active on a daily basis. Each match can take 3 minutes or less to play out and players can get off and on the game when they have a few moments.

Then there are the changes of the game that has made Splinterlands where it is today. For one the changes in rewards and earned DEC has continuously lower over the course of the years it all started. As more players join the distribution of rewards continue to drop as the pie remain the same but shared by more players.

This has lead to lesser and harder to earn rewards and DEC unless the player truly invested into the game. What I mean invest is not just time but money too. Back when the game first started one only needed $10 to start off to earn rewards and DEC. Within weeks the $10 would be earned back in rewards and the player can easily turn into profit just for putting in the time and effort. As the game grew things adjusted.

Today $10 for a spell book will allow players to earn rewards but not DEC in rank battles. With the most recent changes in Splinterlands matches where ghost cards are used, cards from the spell book, will no longer have DEC rewarded for players in rank battles.

Bottom line the game has evolved. This is just a short post of my rant towards how the game has evolved.

Link to the match if you want to watch.

Until tomorrow happy Splinterlands to everyone.
