Mate, I absolutely agree. I went through my owned deck the other day and there were a heap of cards I either don't use, or use so rarely they're not worth owning. I put them on the market and they didn't sell. Perhaps says something about those cards ;)
With Riftwatchers launching in 2 days, I can only imagine the price of CHAOS cards will immediately dip. As I said in this post, I don't own the Grandmaster Rathe - but hoping if the regular foil price dips, then I can buy 6 of the silly thing to make a Level 3 - that'll be his max for gold league. With all the really high mana LIFE cards in riftwatchers, they have high health and high armour - I can see them pairing up to form a really strong combination. Time will tell - hope you're well. ;)
It's concerning, but since one cannot sell them, isn't there a way to burn them cards in exchange for some DEC of a sort?
I think as for riftwatchers, it's kind of pricey and it's why I didn't think I'll buy much, but I don't think it'll be good for the advent of riftwatchers to tank the prices of chaos legion cards if you ask me. However it's part of the growth of the ecosystem and we cannot deny this.
It was probably more that they were not great cards, and gold foils, so not super cheap either. In truth, how often would you play any of these cards? My mistake was when I was transitioning to a gold foil deck, I was just buying without reasoning things through. The Charlok Minotaur and Phantasm were just because they were 2 or 3 bucks each. The Bone Golem I thought would be better than he is, but so much better tank choices in DEATH, that he ends up on the sidelines.
