Rarity: RARE
Element: FIRE
Attack: MELEE

Ruleset and line-up:

Noxious Fumes - All Monsters start the battle Poisoned
Mana Cap of 52.
Available Splinters - Fire, Earth and Dragon

My Team:

Summoner: Tarsa (+1 to all Melee damage, +1 to Health)

1. Gargoya Lion - Melee Damage Dealer with the Flying ability
2. Radiated Brute - Melee Damage Dealer with the Reach ability
3. Disintegrator - Melee Damage Dealer with the Demoralize ability
4. Forgotten One - Melee Damage Dealer with the Immunity ability
5. Tenyii Striker - Melee Damage Dealer with the Sneak ability
6. Antoid Platoon - Tank, Melee Damage Dealer with the Shield ability

My Main Strategy was to give the best possible protection to the Forgotten One, since that Monster is the only one with Immunity and doesn't take 2 damage / round.

Position 1 - Gargoya Lion:

Decent HP and the Flying ability with the extra possibility to dodge, that is way it made itself in to my lineup in position 1.

Position 2 - Radiated Brute:

Placed in this position because of the Reach ability. Thanks to the decent HP it has the potential to survive 3 poison rounds.

Position 3 - Disintegrator:

With the available Splinters I expected the opponent to go for a melee focused team aswell, that is why the Demoralize ability could make the difference.

Position 4 - Forgotten One:

The most important unit for this match. Immune to the noxious fumes ruleset it will probably be the last unit standing. That is why it is in the middle of my line-up to get the highest possible protection from front and sneak attacks.

Position 5 - Tenyii Striker:

Decided to place it behind the Forgotten One for some extra Sneak protection. The other reason to use it is to have some Sneak damage myself in case my opponent places the main survival target far in the back.

Position 6 - Antoid Platoon:

Defence in the back to protect the Forgotten One in case the opponent focuses on Sneak attacks.

Round 1:

Gargoya Lion manages to get a dodge thanks to its flying ability. Not many other spectacular things happening in this round, just Monster whacking at each other.

Round 2:

The opponent manages to take out Gargoya Lion and the Radiated Brute leaving only the Disintegrator to protect my Forgotten one from frontal attacks.
However my Tenyii Striker takes out the opponent's Sand Worm leaving the Forgotten One vulnerable to the next Sneak attacks.

Round 3:

The Disintegrator goes down and my Forgotten One loses some of its Armor. My Tenyii striker manages to remove the same amount of Armor from the opponents Forgotten One though.

Round 4:

The Noxious Fumes ruleset takes its toll on the teams removing 3 Monsters from the match before the round starts. Again my Forgotten One is attack from the front while I attack the opponent from the back.

Round 5:

Only the Forgotten One's are left and both have the same amount of HP left. So this match is going to be decided by RNG in the next round.

Final Round:

I get to attack first and secure the victory by cointoss RNG 😀

My strategy worked, but the one my opponent used was just as good as mine. The victory was just a lucky cointoss for which Forgotten one gets to attack first in the last round. This time the luck was on my side. It was interesting to see that apart from the Forgotten one we had completely different teams, but they ended up having the exact same strength.

The Tenyii Striker is an awesome card. I like using Fire-Sneak tactics and it has a decent amount of HP, damage and speed.
