- (ITA/ENG) - But wasn't that supposed to be my last post a couple of days ago?!? Let's clarify a bit...

Buonasera a tutti e ben ritrovati.

end or not.png

Good evening everyone and welcome back.

Also in this second day of this very boring and very long working week, however gray and rainy, even if, as usual, there is no shortage of tiredness and nervousness, here I am again, again this evening, with this new daily post of mine, dedicated, in this case to some clarifications on one of my article from a few days ago.

end or not.png

Following a new conversation I had with @underlock, author of the post that three days ago I went to present to you in an article of mine, arguing the new guidelines dictated by the Splinterlands community regarding the various weekly contests, seems that I have slightly misunderstood, and there are some small clarifications to be made.

It being understood that the focal point has always been, and remains, the need to bring value to users who may have to read our writings, no one expressly forbids continuing to talk about one's daily results, provided that these are not limited to a mere, and quickly, a list of papers received and nothing more, but on the contrary, they are discussed and debated, perhaps adding their own personal opinions, giving any suggestions, or anything else, as I have always tried to do in my publications.

Having said, therefore, that, in any case, even for my mere personal pleasure, as well as a challenge with myself, in trying to churn out new and perhaps even more interesting content, I will try, as far as possible, to be a little less monotonous and, consequently, to vary the topics I'm going to talk about, which revolve around the world of Splinterlands, who has never limited himself only to real lists of cards and nothing more, but has always added more value in his writings, should, theoretically, have no problem from now on.

The risks that would be taken, however, would never lead to downvotes, except in rare and extreme cases in which, perhaps, posts that could be photocopies of each other, but simply votes, recurred with a certain assiduity very low, or even none, in the case of poor quality.

It therefore seemed appropriate to me, following my post a few days ago, to clarify things a bit to avoid giving rise to misunderstandings, or incorrect evaluations, about the same, even if, to put a real tombstone on the case, as I had used as an image of the article above, I await further confirmation from @underlock to whom I wrote to be sure I understood correctly.

The posts organized weekly by Splinterlands, in fact, offer interesting opportunities to receive quite substantial Upvotes, but, unfortunately, lately there have been some users who have taken advantage of the situation a little, and, consequently, it has become necessary this small turn of the screw to prevent profiteers from exploiting them to obtain easy profits without doing practically anything.

contest splinterlands.png

As I have already said before, I have to admit that, unlike many changes applied to the game, which on the contrary I can not digest, and actually resent, which I have already discussed several times in more than one of my articles, those applied within the gaming community, I find them very appreciable, given that they are aimed at eliminating those who took advantage of a situation that was too comfortable to raise cash.

If the creators and developers of Splinterlands really took the same effort to fight all the users of bots who, for the moment, continue to run quietly, and therefore plunder the pool of distributed rewards on a daily basis, it would probably be possible to solve a problem that has been going on for way too long.

I already know that, at this point, many will fiercely defend some choices implemented by them in an apparent attempt to fight them, but in my opinion, given the results, all this has only served to make it too complicated, and almost unplayable , a game that was wonderful, without actually being able to do anything concrete about this problem, since the aforementioned continue to run within the same with impunity.

On the contrary, however, real users find themselves increasingly in difficulty, given that they are practically forced, if they still want to hope to be able to combine something, to invest, often even in a consistent way, to adapt all the cards they own to the new rules, and be able to continue playing without being penalized in the results obtainable.

In fact, those who have been using bots for some time, I don't think they have any problem whatsoever, with all they have earned so far, in adapting very quickly, given that it has happened to me, on several occasions, to see some accounts, certain users of the same, who overflowed with legendary cards, often even gilded, for decidedly very important values, and if we add to all this the DECs, before, and the SPS, now, which they may have gained over time, I dare not imagine what figures can we talk about.

It is a pity, however, that, on the contrary, for real people, who have always played daily, and honestly, without using them, certain results have been impossible, and, consequently, now find themselves in serious difficulty in implementing the requests current, on the part of the game, to strengthen their decks of cards, without thinking, then, of all those new users who, certainly, faced with such a situation, will not find it all that inviting to start playing Splinterlands.

I only wonder, at this point, if whoever controls the game has ever asked himself this question, or has thought, in any case, of everything I have just explained, given that it seems to me that the direction now taken is increasingly that of make this game usable, and exploitable, only by those with certain budgets, not caring about all the others.

I hate talking like this about Splinterlands since I've been a passionate fan of it for quite some time now, and until recently I couldn't wait to be able to devote myself to playing as many games as possible on it, because I enjoyed myself like crazy, but now the game that I had known, and adored, has become the ghost of itself, and, honestly, I can no longer recognize it, even considering completing the daily Focus missions almost a waste of time.

Therefore, I hope that finally someone will be able to realize that they have created a situation which, in my opinion, could be detrimental to the future of the game, and above all to the entry of new users, and can intervene, rebalancing within of the same, which can allow everyone to obtain, in any case, the possibility of growing and evolving, without necessarily putting a heavy hand in the wallet.

I hope you'll excuse me for this rant of mine, perhaps even too long, and for the sometimes a little heated tones I used, but as an avid fan of Splinterland,s as I said a little above, it honestly pisses me off, in a rather important, to see it go a bit down the drain as it is happening.

But these, of course, are just my mere personal opinions and nothing more, which I can share or not, but, I hope you'll excuse me, I can't keep silent in the face of a situation that I don't like at all and which, in my opinion, is erroneously underestimated, given that the gaming experience of many users is worsening.

Now, however, I don't want to bore you any further, and, consequently, for the moment, there is nothing left for me to do but wish you a good afternoon and a good evening, and invite you, if you still feel like it, to continue read my posts and follow me.

P.S. If you haven't signed up for Splinterlands yet and want to start playing this game, you can sign up here: Splinterlands

  • i bot aumentano a dismisura la visibilità di Splinterlands, dato che lo fanno sembrare uno dei giochi con più utenza nel settore dei blockchain games;
  • i proprietari dei bot hanno accumulato ricchezze enormi e, se vedessero il loro sistema di gioco messo in discussione, potrebbero inondare il mercato di carte e tokens, causando un tracollo del valore di tutti gli assets di gioco;
  • molti di questi sviluppatori ed utilizzatori di bot sono amici dei membri del team di Splinterlands e, sebbene in un gioco serio questo non dovrebbe accadere, il team è reticente a fare uno sgarbo a dei propri amici, anche se questi stanno dissanguando e piano piano uccidendo il gioco stesso;
  • all'inizio il team sbandierava ed ammetteva la possibilità di usare bot, per cui molte persone ci hanno fatto - anche giustamente, direi - affidamento ed hanno investito grosse cifre nel gioco e, adesso, rischia di apparire come una mancanza di serietà del team quella di voler rimangiarsi queste - assurde, peraltro - parole;
    A tale ultimo riguardo, riprova di ciò la possiamo vedere anche nelle assurde modifiche che hanno fatto al gioco - e che te hai infatti evidenziato nel tuo posto: queste, infatti, non sono - ovviamente - servite a nient'altro se non complicare la vita ai giocatori "in carne ed ossa", spesso dotati di poche risorse, sia economiche che di tempo, insufficienti per adattarsi alle richieste di investimento sempre più esose richieste dal gioco, laddove invece per i proprietari dei bot tutto ciò non è stato un problema, dato che, come tutti sanno, le bot farms più grandi hanno collezioni di carte da anche centinaia di migliaia di dollari.
    E questo, appunto, è avvenuto perchè gli sviluppatori non hanno accesso ai normali mezzi con cui solitamente i giochi individuano un bot e lo sospendono (o limitano) dal gioco: il team può procedere solo per vie traverse, rischiando così però, come infatti è avvenuto, di coinvolgere nei suoi attacchi più gli utenti normali che gli utilizzatori di bot.
    Per terminare questo mio lunghissimo commento (perdonami @lozio71, ma mi fornisci sempre spunti interessanti su cui ragionare), la totale inutilità, nei confronti dei bot, di quanto fatto finora è dimostrata da un dato fattuale che ho potuto rilevare addirittura nelle Leghe Diamante e Campione: i bot sono presenti anche lì e:
  • appartengono spesso alle solite bot farm (lo si capisce dai nomi tutti uguali, salvo un numero alla fine);
  • sono presenti in grandissima quantità, dato che li si affronta in continuazione;
  • hanno account costosissimi a disposizione, con tutte carte maxxate e dorate;

Thanks for sharing! - @marianaemilia

Thanks for sharing! It's great to see Splinterlands players and investors giving their opinion even if it's dissatisfaction with something. This is nothing more than feedback for developers to look and analyze what real users go through and their feelings.

I sincerely think it is right, given that the possibility exists, for everyone to say his opinion on all the things he loves, or, on the contrary, on those he hates, within a game, precisely in an attempt that this can become always better

As an avid fan of Splinterlands, therefore, I couldn't help but say what I think, whether I like it or not, and I'd like to hope, since I'm not the only one who thinks so, that the developers could find a way to improve some things .

Thanks for Your Support!
