"Social Media Battle" - The Unforgettable - Death Element - 1st part

I continue my journey among the various Elements, among the various Cards, which I owned before September 2021, limiting the discussion to those I had taken to the highest level, which in several cases still arouse sad thoughts in me, after some time, as, some more, some less, are Cards that I will hardly be able to bring back to maximum power, due to considerably different costs and conditions, compared to what I was able to combine now a couple of years ago, when I built my first Deck of Cards...

Now I understand better, with classic hindsight, why I was not happy with the Life Element, the reason is quite simple, and it was represented by the fact that, apart from Tyrus Paladium, the Life Summoner who I had maxed (al parts of all the others), I had no card of this maxed Element, unlike what happened for the new Cards, as I have several that I have already taken steps to bring to maximum power, so I proceed, without further delay, talking about the Common and Rare Cards of the Death Element, which has always been an Element that has met my preferences enough, the proof is that Thaddius Brood has long been at 6th level...

I perfectly remember that Maggots was the subject of the Share Your Battle Contest some time ago, and that thanks to this Contest I stopped to carefully evaluate this Card, looking closely at its qualities, finally coming to the decision to upgrade it to the maximum level, and I didn't regret it at all, because especially in games with low number of Mana available Maggots it was almost always used, thanks to its skills of Opportunity and Scavenger, and right at the last level, as sometimes happens for other cards, the 3rd hit per game round arrives, which makes this card even more interesting, for those who have the possibility to raise it up to maximum power, what chance do I have to bring it back up?

Honestly I don't know, I've always liked this card, but the recent introduction of new cards requires me to try to carefully evaluate the various opportunities, mixing old, new and brand new cards the sums that I can direct towards this game platform, Maggots costs, at the current level, about 40 cents of dollar per unit (10 Deck Power points), they are just over 150 dollars in all, there are not many but not even few, so I think about it, without making any decisions in the immediate...

Undead Rexx, another Common Card of the Death Element, what attracted me immediately to this Card was the large number of shots it could fire per round of play, but it turned out to be even less decisive compared to what I thought were his potential, I probably overestimated his qualities, even if he possessed some skills, such as Trample and Stun, a small demonstration that Undead Rexx is simply an honest Card and nothing more is represented by its price, which at the moment fluctuates around 20 cents of dollars per single unit (10 Deck Power points), which drops to about 17 in the case of a single purchase at maximum power, what chance do I have of getting it back to the maximum level?

In theory there would also be, but I'm not sure I want to do it, because the perplexity about this card remains, even after some time, even if all in all, considering the cost / DEC points ratio quite favorable for being a dated card, perhaps I could even make an exception for her...

This is one of those cards that I upgraded to the maximum level almost by chance, I remember that every now and then I bought a few units, in the end I found myself a full power Octopider, which has always proved its worth, thanks to the abilities of Demoralize and Blind, which associated with the fact of the 5 hits per round of play make this Card a beautiful offensive tool, which has the only limitation of having a cost, in terms of Mana, of well 8 units, but even its current price is no joke, in a moment of general decline like this one unit of Octopider costs the beauty of one dollar and ninety cents (60 points of Deck Power), while the price drops significantly to just over a dollar for a full multiple purchase, do I have a chance to get it back at the highest level?

Maybe, in fact, I still like this card, but it would take a bigger wallet than mine, and then I really think I wouldn't miss it, because I really like its performance, maybe I'll take some units, how and if I get it back a greater purchasing force in the future...

Continuo il mio percorso tra i vari Elementi, tra le varie Carte, che possedevo prima di settembre 2021, limitando il discorso a quelle che avevo portato al massimo livello, che in diversi casi suscitano ancora in me, a distanza di tempo, dei pensieri tristi, in quanto, chi più, chi meno, sono Carte che ben difficilmente potrò riportare alla massima potenza, a causa di costi e condizioni notevolmente diversi, rispetto a quello che riuscii a combinare ormai un paio di anni fa, quando costruii quel mio primo Deck di Carte...

Ora capisco meglio, con il classico senno di poi, perché non mi trovassi bene l'Elemento Vita, il motivo è abbastanza semplice, ed era rappresentato dal fatto che, a parte Tyrus Paladium, l'Evocatore Vita che avevo maxato (al parti di tutto gli altri), non avevo nessuna Carta di questo Elemento maxata, a differenza di quanto è successo per le nuove Carte, in quanto ne possiedo diverse che ho già provveduto a portare alla massima potenza, per cui procedo, senza ulteriore indugio, a parlare delle Carte Comuni e Rare dell'Elemento Morte, che è sempre stato un Elemento che ha incontrato abbastanza le mie preferenze, la dimostrazione è rappresentata dal fatto che Thaddius Brood è da tempo al 6° livello...

Ricordo perfettamente che Maggots fu oggetto del Contest Share Your Battle diverso tempo fa, e che proprio grazie a questo Contest mi sono fermato a valutare attentamente questa Carta, guardando bene alle sue qualità, giungendo infine alla decisione di potenziarla al massimo livello, e non mi pentii affatto, perché soprattutto nelle partite con basso numero di Mana a disposizione Maggots trovava quasi sempre impiego, grazie alle sue abilità di Opportunity e Scavenger, e proprio all'ultimo livello, come a volte accade anche per altre Carte, arriva il 3° colpo per tornata di gioco, che rendono questa Carta ancora più interessante, per chi ha la possibilità di elevarla fino alla massima potenza, che possibilità ho di riportarla in alto?

Sinceramente non lo so, mi è sempre piaciuta questa Carta, ma la recente introduzione di nuove Carte mi impone di cercare di valutare attentamente le varie opportunità, mixando tra vecchie, nuove e nuovissime Carte le somme che riesco a indirizzare verso questa piattaforma di gioco, Maggots costa, al livello attuale, circa 40 centesimi di dollaro per unità (10 punti di Deck Power), sono poco più di 150 dollari in tutto, non sono tantissimi ma nemmeno pochi, per cui ci penso, senza prendere delle decisioni nell'immediato...

Undead Rexx, un'altra Carta Comune dell'Elemento Morte, quello che mi attirò sin da subito di questa Carta fu il gran numero di colpi che riusciva a sparare per ogni tornata di gioco, ma si rivelò anche meno decisiva rispetto a quelle che pensavo fossero le sue potenzialità, probabilmente sopravvalutai le sue qualità, anche se possedeva alcune abilità, quali Trample e Stun, una piccola dimostrazione che Undead Rexx sia semplicemente una Carta onesta e nulla di più è rappresentata dalla sua quotazione, che oscilla in questo momento intorno ai 20 centesimi di dollari per unità singola (10 punti di Deck Power), che scendono a circa 17 in caso di un acquisto unico a massima potenza, che possibilità ho di riaverla al massimo livello?

In teoria ci sarebbero anche, ma non sono certo di volerlo fare, perché la perplessità su questa Carta rimane, anche a distanza di tempo, anche se tutto sommato, considerando il rapporto costo/punti DEC abbastanza favorevole per essere una Carta datata, forse potrei anche fare un'eccezione per lei...

Questa è una di quelle Carte che ho potenziato al massimo livello quasi per caso, ricordo che ogni tanto ne compravo qualche unità, alla fine mi sono ritrovato una Octopider a tutta potenza, che ha sempre dimostrato il suo valore, grazie alle abilità di Demoralize e Blind, che associate al fatto dei 5 colpi per tornata di gioco fanno di questa Carta un bello strumento offensivo, che ha come unico limite quello di avere un costo, in termini di Mana, di ben 8 unità, ma anche la sua quotazione attuale non scherza, in un momento di ribasso generale come questo un'unità di Octopider costa la bellezza di un dollaro e novanta centesimi (60 punti di Deck Power), mentre il prezzo scende notevolmente a poco più di un dollaro per un acquisto multiplo completo, ho delle possibilità di riaverla al massimo livello?

Forse, in effetti continua a piacermi, questa Carta, ma ci vorrebbe un portafoglio più capiente del mio, e allora penso proprio che non me la farei sfuggire, perché le sue prestazioni mi piacciono davvero, magari ne prenderò qualche unità, come e se riavrò una forza di acquisto maggiore in futuro...
