I Added A Few More Cards To My Deck In Splinterlands.

I'm slowly adding cards to my deck as I can.

I picked up a couple new cards yesterday and today to add to my deck. Slowly but surely I am getting more cards to work with. You can see the two cards I got below one is a normal rewards card and the other is a gold foil rare card.

They are not big time cards but I think they are solid additions to my deck and hope to get a lot of use from both of them. If not then I will rent out the gold foil card and make some DEC back, I will have to see how it goes. It's my understanding that the Venari Crystalsmith will be one of two cards with the healing ability in the life splinter after Chaos Legion is launched but I could be wrong. Hope you all are having some fun and earning while you play, see you next time.

I have yet to play this game.
I have a total of 6 cards and recently got 2 packs of unopened Chaos legion just for the sake of having some.

It's a pretty complicated game and takes some time to learn if you are up for it, if not then you can always rent out the cards and passively earn DEC on the rentals. I know people who don't even play the game but make a nice chunk of crypto everyday.

I like the Passive income angle as I am challenged for free time to learn to play or even play at all. I may have to acquire some quality cards to make it worthwhile.

I am old so my generation loved playing Dungeon & Dragons (Gary Gygax we miss you) I did not really play the collecting card fantasy games like "Magic the Gathering" or "Yu-Gi-Oh". I have been told by those younger than I that Splinterlands gameplay is similar to those games.
After playing Splinterlands I was surprised by how much fun I was having, now just a few weeks later I am addicted and feel that I really missed out on something with those other games.
Currently if it is not a blockchain play to earn game I have no interest my Playstation friends are less than happy with me lol

I am old also and never played card games before either. I don't think I will still like to play card games with real cards it's way better on the computer then calculating and figuring out any kind of a battle without the automation.

Both of these cards are actually very powerful especially at novice and bronze levels. It's quite unique to have a healing ability and the tower at that level!

Last night I was watching a video by Dwayne Cunningham and he was saying there will only be 2 healing cards in Life splinter and the Crystalsmith is one of them, plus as you level it up it is a strong card in the upper levels also. I have been on the wrong end of the Wavesmith a few times so I figured it would be a good card to have.

In my opinion both cards are very powerful and the good thing about them is that only about 10% of them are printed. If we start to upgrade them now, it might be possible to have them once maxed out. I believe that in the future of the game it will become very difficult to have maxed cards simply because there are too many players and too few cards for that. Probably such developped cards will have a nice market for rentals.

It's true there are so many people playing and more joining everyday, I don't think they will be able to keep up with supplying cards to everyone. That is good if we can collect now, like you say, and level up some of these lower cost cards.

The Pelacor Mercenary is another favorite inexpensive card that I love playing. I bought 1 for 26 cents and then 1 was gifted to me. I like playing him in the first position, with a reach or sprite in the second position like Child of the forest.

I enjoy collecting the NFTs or Cards as much, maybe a bit more than actual game play :-)

The nft's are part of the game and it's so nice to see the collection grow over time :-).

Collecting the cards is a little addicting, the game is still pretty fun but the cards make it even better.

So far I am having a blast. I am a big fan of the Venari cards. I have a Venari Seedsmith, and a Venari Heatsmith, I enjoy playing both cards especially the Heatsmith as He gains life as other monsters die.
Back in the late 70s early 80s, I was really big into collecting Sports Cards, mainly Baseball, and Hockey.
That feeling "buzz" for lack of a better word, of opening a new pack, the excitement of getting that one card from the dealer at the local shop at the time the shop was called "COMIX" we thought spelling Comics with an x instead of cs was so cool. Hey it was the 70s nobody did that yet lol
