Coral Wraith or, I accept your challenge

Hello friends, acquaintances, and the yet unmet.

MagooZ aka MstrMagoo coming to you for this, the Splinterlands Battle Challenge - Coral Wraith. When did I acquire said card? No idea but I once again find myself with the request items for the challenge so here we go.

As of this writing, my stats are
Rating: 842
Power: 10,165
These are incredibly similar to my stats from our previous challenge, MINOTAUR WARRIOR. This is only a coincidence as we are fairly fresh into the new season.

Match Rules

Rules: Even Stevens (even mana cards only)
Mana Cap: 12
Splinters: Water, Life, and Death

Lineup (I chose water obviously)

Summoner

With +1 to magic it's a natural choice.

Tank
Position 1

A great low mana meat-shield. Best in the game, I don't feel confident in saying that.

Support Cards
Position 2

4 mana gets you 2 magic damage at 2 speed with 2 health and the sneak ability. Not my first choice of magic card in most cases (not even in the water splinter) but a pretty good choice in this severely restrictive, 12 mana match.

Position 3

Since the Coral Wraith only has 2 HP its pretty important to put one card behind her to guard against a faster sneak on the opposing team. At 0 mana and me at the 12 mana cap it's the perfect choice. Frankly, it's the only choice.

In total 12 mana is the cap. My total damage is only 4, but I dont think many could squeeze a better team out of 12 mana. I think the key here is having the Furious Chicken to guard the Coral Wraith at the back. My opponent ending up bringing Phantasm and the Undead Badger. If either I was without Furious Chicken OR if the opponent had a Furious Chicken in the final spot I probably would have lost this match. Spoiler, I won. The win was worth +20 rating and 5.193 DEC.

BUT, would I change anything if I could do it over?

No, I might just use this as a template for low mana battles for a while.

Do I like Coral Wraith?

I definitely do. First let me say I really like the art for this card. Second, at only 4 mana she is always in consideration for use in a water boosted magic match. 3rd I like the look of her evolution so hopefully she continues to be eminently playable as I move up into higher leagues.
