Well, I recently got out of the most pathetic phase of my life, probably. On the bloody night of last 30th October 2020, I met a serious bike accident and my right leg and right hand got badly injured. I total got 16 broken bones and my right feet was so much fractured and dismantled that doctor might cut it out, thankfully he didn't. the leg finger adjacent to the thumb has been removed surgically by doctors because no nerve was alive.

Anyway, after 3 months and 1 week, I am still getting dressings but the wounds are very close the get dried up. I have started doing physiotherapy as both my knee and ankle got broken and was unused for almost 3 long months.

But, I am very glad that I got saved and am alive and sound. First of all, I would like to thank @sayee, who stood beside me and run my whole crypto journey from playing with my splinterlands account and posting on hive on my behalf. Only for her, I was still active in this digital world and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart.

From almost last 15 days I started playing splinterlands again and from the last 3 days, I started posting on hive also. Today I was roaming around my feeds and fall upon a battle challenge post written by a known splinterlands player and it really caught my attention. I immediately started missing my old days spending hours after making cool posts on Splinter worlds. So here I am, writing monsters once again!

So, this week, the battle monster is Defender of Truth! Let us look into this magic card from the Life sector! The DoT is an old dog beta edition magic card that belongs to the Life splinter and it comes with gold edition and alpha edition as well. This human-looking monster is one of the most popular cards in Splinterlands because of his high magic attack and Protect ability! A 4 mana cost monster packed with magic attack and extra shields is what we can depend upon in this cautious situation!

Defender of Truth is super usable in low or mid mana matches. If you badly want a layer of extra shield for all of your monsters on top of a high magic attack. DoT is your guy!

I always love playing matches with Life monsters with a good number of melee/ ranged monsters because of their cost and attack style which is super considering the total mana limit. Costing just 4 mana, this monster still has great potential on the battlefield, especially in the 4 mana matches, what do you think?

Ok so, before moving on, lt use see what s being written in the book of Splinterlore for him.

The Defender of Truth is a powerful wizard of Khymeria, as well as an important political figure for the Order of the Silver Shield. When the Khymian warriors march to war, the Defender of Truth is their General. He inspires his troops with the divine protection of the Silver Shield.

For this beta edition card, Right now there is currently a handful of max DoT available at the market, well at the first page at least and the price for the lowest one is exactly 22.14$ (0.49$ per bcx, 26,938.800 DEC). There are also some high-level monsters available at slightly higher prices and The single one is available at 1.13$ and will cost you 1,373.646 DEC as per the current rate.

Clearly, you can see the difference between alpha and beta prices. For this beta edition card, Right now there is currently 5 max DoT available at the market and the price for the lowest one is exactly 45.90$ (1.43$ per bcx, 55,846.210 DEC).

What this Defender of Truth is capable of?

Let's have a look into his stats and find out!

• Level 1 - In its initial level, it carries 1 magic attack with 1 health, 1 armour and 3 speed. It brings no ability at the initial level with it.
• Level 3 - At level 3, it carries 2 magic attack at 4 speed, 1 armour and 3 health. It also gets the Protect ability from level 3.
• Level 6 - At max level, It possesses 3 magic attack with 4 health and 1 armour at 4 speed. It is a fantastic choice to level the overall defence up, isn't it?

It's a medium mana match this time and I am thinking to go for the Life summoner The Peakrider deck since the ruleset is Fumes + Earthquake, I can surely use some extra armours!

SILVERSHIELD PALADIN

I chose SILVERSHIELD PALADIN in the first place because of its high health with reflector ability. I have a level 8 and it has 3 melee attack at 3 speed, 4 armour and 9 health. It also has the reflector ability from level 5.

SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR

I chose SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR in the second place because of its high health with armour. I have a level 10 and it has 3 melee attack at 2 speed, 3 armour and 7 health. It has no ability.

ANGEL OF LIGHT

I chose an ANGEL OF LIGHT in the third place because of its high Tank heal and Inspire ability. I have a level 4 and it has 0 attacks and 8 health. It also has the flying and resurrects ability at max level.

DEFENDER OF TRUTH

I chose DEFENDER OF TRUTH in the fourth place because of its magic attack with Protect ability. I have a level 6 and it has 3 magic attack at 4 speed, 1 armour and 4 health. It has the Protect ability from level 3.

FERAL SPIRIT

I chose FERAL SPIRIT in the fifth place because of its sneak attack with high damage I have a level 10 and it has 4 melee attack at 6 speed and 5 health.

Let us now take a dive in the gameplay.

Well, it was an awesome medium mana match, my friends! My opponent was having max level and legendary cards and his line up was great too! Let's look down to the match!

First, let us follow the opponent's line-up...

• My opponent @khazrakh also used Dragon summoner Draia against me.
• At the front position, he used Shieldbearer Level 8. He chose a deadly tank to his front and I just hope I get able to kill this max level Lord with my warriors.
• At the second position, position, he e puts the Chicken lev 4.
• At the third he used silvershield bard lev 7.
• At the fourth position, he puts silvershield assasin level 10.
• At the fifth position, he puts Feral Spirit lev 10.
• At the sixth position, he puts divine healer.

AS you can see from the battle, the opponent's line up was very aggressive, especially with that max Shieldbearer at the front following by max level monsters. He went full-on attack stance upon me and also used the divine healer at last position. He would think that I will be using magic monsters but this time I believed in the melee mostly.

My opponent @ketcom really played great! I face him often on the battlefield and his line ups are good as always! If you are reading this, please give him a shout out ;)
