Splinterlands Art Contest Week 196 - Theorosa Nightshade.

Good morning my dear community that loves art and card games, welcome back to my art blog, today I want to present what would be my second entry for the #Splinterlands community drawing contest and Today I decided to choose the card from (Theorosa Nightshade), it is a card that caught my attention both for its design, for the story behind the character and especially for the striking expression on his face; so I chose it for my fan-art so here I want to show you a bit of the creation process which I hope you like a lot:

Buenos días mi querida comunidad amante del arte y de los juegos de cartas, sean bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog de arte, el día de hoy les quiero presentar lo que sería mi segunda participación para el concurso de dibujo de la comunidad de #Splinterlands y el día de hoy decidí elegir la carta de (Theorosa Nightshade), es una carta que me llamo mucho la atención tanto por el diseño de la misma, como por la historia detrás del personaje y sobre todo por la llamativa expresión de su rostro; así que la elegí para mi fan-art así que aquí les quiero mostrar un poco del proceso de creación el cual espero les guste mucho:

PROCESS / PROCESO

I began the process of creating my work with a sketch of thin lines somewhat rough to establish a basic skeleton with a pose which would highlight the staff that carries the character of (Theorosa Nightshade); once I managed to establish the desired structure for the character the next thing I did was to finish this section with an outline that would allow me to apply the colors in a precise and organized way. Continuing with the process of my drawing what I did was to begin to apply tonalities starting from the skin of (Theorosa Nightshade) and for which I used a quite intense purple color as a base.

Empecé el proceso de creación de mi obra con un boceto de líneas delgadas algo toscas para ir estableciendo un esqueleto básico con una pose la cual resaltara el báculo que lleva el personaje de (Theorosa Nightshade); ya una vez logre establecer la estructura deseada para el personaje lo siguiente que hice culminar este apartado con un delineado que me permitiera aplicar los colores de forma precisa y organizada. Continuando con el proceso de mi dibujo lo que hice fue empezar a aplicar tonalidades partiendo desde la piel de (Theorosa Nightshade) y para la cual usé un color morado bastante intenso como base.

After having the base for the skin I continued with the detailing and sectioning of each area of the skin such as the arms, neck, jaw and one or another detail of the face; after establishing a little volume, depth and brightness to the skin the next thing I did was to start painting the details of tattoos or markings in blue tones characteristic of this character. Once I finished with the above mentioned the next step was the painting of the eyes and lips to print a little expression of madness to the face of (Theorosa Nightshade); this took me a couple of layers, but finally I think I could get that disconcerting expression in the eyes of this character.

Luego de tener la base para la piel proseguí con el detallado y seccionado de cada zona de la piel como los brazos, cuello, mandíbula y uno que otro detalle del rostro; luego de establecer un poco de volumen, profundidad y brillos a la piel lo siguiente que hice fue comenzar a pintar los detalles de tatuajes o marca en tonalidades azules características de este personaje. Una vez termine con lo antes mencionado el siguiente paso fue el del pintado de los ojos y labios para imprimirle un poco de expresión de locura al rostro de (Theorosa Nightshade); esto me llevo un par de capas, pero finalmente creo que pude conseguir esa expresión desconcertante en la mirada de este personaje.

Continuing with the painting of (Theorosa Nightshade) the next thing I decided to color was the sorceress style clothing that this character wears, this was something that I really liked to do because it was one of the main reasons why I chose this character for my participation and is because I have experience drawing and painting magic and sorcery themed things; this was a very laborious process due to the amount of details in blue and especially in gold that the character's clothing has, but I did my best to make it look as cool as possible.

Continuando con el pintado de (Theorosa Nightshade) lo siguiente a lo que decidí darle color fue la vestimenta al estilo de hechicera que lleva este personaje, esto fue algo que me gustó mucho realizar debido a que fue una de las razones principales por las que elegí a este personaje para mi participación y es porque que tengo experiencia dibujando y pintando cosas con temática de magia y hechicería; esto fue un proceso muy laborioso por la cantidad de detalles en azul y sobretodo en dorado que lleva la vestimenta del personaje, pero hice mi mejor esfuerzo para que quedara lo mas cool posible.

After finishing with the outfit of (Theorosa Nightshade) I decided to take advantage of the moment to give a little color to the hair, the original character has very white hair with a little tendency to pink tones, but to give a more personalized touch to my drawing I decided to add much more pink to the hair with well-defined lines of strands. After finishing with the hair, continue painting the long cape of the character with a much more intense and darker blue than that of the suit, try to give a good level of detail to these last 2 sections so that they stand out a lot.

Luego de terminar con la vestimenta de (Theorosa Nightshade) decidí aprovechar el momento para darle un poco de color al cabello, el personaje original tiene un cabello muy blanco con un poco de tendencia a los tonos rosa, pero para darle un toque más personalizado a mi dibujo decidí agregar mucho más rosado al cabello con líneas de mechones bien demarcados. Luego de terminar con el pelo continúe pintado la larga capa del personaje con un azul mucho más intenso y oscuro que el del traje, trate de darle un buen nivel de detalle a estos 2 últimos apartados para que resaltaran bastante.

Now to give a good conclusion to my drawing I finished by giving color to the staff or staff for which I had to use several brushes and layer effects, first I gave it a little rough wood texture, and then move on to the diamond tip for which I had to use many blue tones along with white and apply some layer modes to give it a much more realistic and special shine.

Ya para darle una buena conclusión a mi dibujo termine por darle color al bastón o báculo para el cual tuve que emplear varios pinceles y efectos de capa, primero le di un poco de textura de madera rugosa, y luego pase a la punta de diamante para la cual tuve que usar muchos tonos azules junto con blancos y aplicar algunos modos de capa para darle un brillo mucho más realista y especial.

Well my dearest community this has been all for today, the truth is that every time I get more and more pleasure to make drawings about the #Splinterlands game, for the next one I plan to do something different to the theme of wizards or sorcery, and I already have a letter in mind for my next participation so I will work hard on it so wait for it soon.
