Chaos Legion Packs Presale 20% Off for Everyone - Progress Update
Purchase as little as 5 packs and get 20% off (Awarded in Bonus Packs)
We pass on to you 20% savings
What you get in our chaos legion presale pack pool:
You get to keep all cards that are guaranteed you by the amount you purchase
1. For every 50 packs you purchase with us keep the standard promo card
2. For every 1,000 packs you purchase with us keep the legionnaire title and gold card
3. In future air drops, keep the cards that are guaranteed to you. For airdrops that involve luck you'll be issued a hive engine token, CAAD, to represent one share of the total value pool.
As our packs accumulate to get standard promo cards, legionnaire titles, and gold promo cards because not everyone will be purchasing 1,000 or even 50 packs, they will be placed into a value pool. For every pack you purchase you will be given a hive engine token from us to represent the share of the total value of the shared pool.
Cards that belong to the pool will be sold or rented and legionnaire titles that belong to the pool will be held for sps or sold. SPS will be staked.
Your air drop token, CAAD, will have the ability to be traded on hive engine for an equal share of the value pool in hive.
There is a minimum purchase requirement of 5 and your total pack purchase must be in increments of five. Bring your own vouchers and the cost of a 3.60 pack in SPS.

BONUS: If we make the top six on the leaderboard contest, I will be donating my standard promo cards, legionnaire title, and GOLD promo card that were guaranteed me because I'll personally be purchasing 1,000 packs!!!
Let's do an EXAMPLE:
Splinterlands player buys 50 packs with us. He receives 60 packs back from us, his guaranteed promo card, and 50 CAAD Hive Engine tokens used to split the value of the pool of luck air dropped cards, group legionnaire titles, and group promo cards(standard and gold).
BONUS PACKS will not count towards your guaranteed air drop cards presale and the remaining air drops. IMPORTANT (but every player will be bound to the same conditions, and this actually encourages us making our team goal which will be big compensation)
THE EXCEPTION IS IF YOU ARE BUYING AT LEAST 870, 1740, OR MORE PACKS FROM US. YOU CAN KEEP THE TITLE, GOLD PROMO CARD, AND STANDARD PROMO CARDS DUE TO 1,000 or 2,000 respectively.

So break it down for me...
Why were some people against pooling?
If we're getting all the bonuses? What's in it for you? Just trying to figure out how I'm going to attack my buy ins for the packs.
So as an individual I'm not sure why people would be against pooling outside of the lottery effect that they can get the airdrop by some micro percentages...
Pools are actually far more beneficial due to the discounts they can offer cause they are going for leaderboards/titles, but here he is offering his PERSONAL TITLE and gf promo contingent on making it to top 6 of leaderboards.
What is in it for him imo (can't speak for him so he can probably answer it better) but I would assume is branding/marketing. Not to mention if he doesn't make leaderboards it acts as a buffer and better way to get to be able to get to titles/maximum discounts.
So as a guild leader I actually recommended it to my guild members and we are going to create a smaller pool to get into this pool probably if we decide to go pack route. If anything think of it as a better chance to get a GF/airdrop cause you are getting a % of something if anyone in the pool would have gotten the airdrop. 1-5% of something is better than 100% of nothing.
pretty good response here infinitytcg upvoted!

Hi Jon I'll have a detailed conversation with you at discord.
There's a few main reasons:
I'm running a small pool for my friends & family - I'll be distributing 100% of our airdropped cards across everyone equitably (we'll be using a points system based on packs bought, and folks can pick which airdrops they want to prioritize - that way someone with a very small # of packs can still get at least a couple)
Even just 1 of those legendary airdrops is probably worth way more than the 2-5 bonus packs that small buyers are getting by joining a pool. Remember, you not only get a guaranteed Dr. Blight for every 50 pre-sale packs, but each pack (including bonus packs) has a 2% chance of pulling him, and a chance at each of the other 13 airdrops as well.
We give everyone what they would get guaranteed and just divide the value of any luck air drops. Just want folks to understand they are not losing that 2% chance with us. What we will expect with large numbers is it will probably come close to the statistical drop rate of 2% because the larger our pack purchase the closer we will be to that probability.
I understand, and wasn't trying to make it sound like yours was disappearing their drops - made the language more clear on that bullet point.
I guess my overall point is just that I would like to see as much of the abundance flow right back to the stakeholders, as quickly and directly as possible - especially in the case of SPS, especially for a project whose target audience is the small-medium fish that are already struggling to catch up with whales, dolphins, pools, and curation projects and such.
For the pool I'm organizing (private - for my friends & family) I'm using a points system (a la your CAAD but just on paper), but with the purpose being to distribute the air-dropped cards & titles to everyone who bought in, so that the account handling the pool zeroes out again.

It seems that distributing the SPS earned from the airdrop across everyone holding the CAAD tokens (since it appears liquid every day anyway) would be a great way to reward your buyers, get more vouchers for them all by the next pre-sale, and would actively return more value to the folks who bought in. Seems like the more passive income, the greater the value of those CAAD tokens, too.
The total amount of sps from what we get by air drop and staking will be reflected in the value pool.
I get that - it just seems that for most of the small fish (your target audience) the most important mid-to-long- play is getting as much SPS to stake as they possibly can. Especially when governance and player-staking come online.
It's just an idea. I don't like the SPS being staked myself - because of all it's current and potential value & usage.
wanna join! that's very good idea of pooling
awesome! we will be happy to have ya!
