I am making this post to celebrate my best financial result in a Steem Monsters tournament. I had already won an internal @contestkings Guild tournament that I participate in, but the prize pool was smaller.

The tournament that took place another day was is "The Wealthy Gambit", Diamond League, Gold Cards Only, and I was ranked ninth, receiving the prize of 7500 DECs.

I was very happy, especially since I had the honor of being eliminated by the champion and winning him in a battle, which was essential for me to be well placed in the final classification.

With much better cards than mine, I believe my opponent made a mistake by not putting any healing ability cards into this duel.

Another thing is that the battle rule increased the armor of the cards, and in these cases it is advisable to use magic cards, because the magic goes through the armor, notice that while I used 3 cards with healing ability and 3 with magic attacks, my opponent used only one unit with magic attacks and none with healing ability.

Obviously, besides having better cards, the champion has a lot more experience than me, but luckily for me, even among the best players, this kind of inaccuracy can sometimes happen.

I should mention that to get this done I have spent a few months spending a good $ buying gold cards, and booster packs.

This excellent result gives me the hope that it was a good investment and that I can slowly recover the amount I invested and generate an income from the game.
