Sailors tell many tales of the dangers of the Cruel Sethropods. Armed with strong pincers and teeth as sharp as spears, they attack anything that gets within range. It is nearly impossible to remove a Cruel Sethropod once it has latched on, and many a sailor has the scars to show where they ventured too close.

“And I ventured round to yon starboard side, scrubbing the barnacles and what have ye off the hull,” the old sailor said. He had gray hair and a long, grizzly beard and wore tattered leather breeches and a shirt that might have been white once but had faded to a dull color that was somewhere between gray and brown.
His young nephew, who had arrived in Praetoria from Azmare the night before, yawned. His parents had left him at his uncle's little shack while they went out to get the lay of the town. Now, they at the kitchen table, the old sailor sipping from a mug of ale and his young nephew wishing he was at the beach, swimming in the ocean and chasing girls instead of listening to his uncle's boring stories. He'd told the man as much, which is what prompted the old sailor's latest tale.

“Cruel Sethropods ain't from around here, ya ken,” the old sailor said with a belch, and his young nephew grimaced in disgust. “They came whence the Chaos Legion came. Invasive little buggers spread fast. Hadn't heard naught but rumors afore.

Well, I was maybe waist high in the water, scrubbing at them barnacles, when one swam up out of the water and latched onto my chest. Tried to pull me under. Woulda' had me for lunch if I hadn't had my wits about me. I drew my daggers and jammed 'em hilt-deep into its eyes. Still, it stayed on, with them teeth deep in my skin. Staggered into town, I did, and the doc had to cut the damnable thing off with a hacksaw.”

The young nephew rolled his eyes. “Probably slipped and cut yourself on some rocks,” he said.

The old sailor stared. Then he stood lifted his shirt. His young nephew gasped and made a retching sound.

In the middle of the old sailor's chest was a massive, circular scar. The grooves of the Cruel Sethropod's teeth were still visible like the mouth of a volcano, swollen and red in the center.

The old sailor downed the rest of his ale and punched the boy on the arm. “Ye still up for that swim?”

Cruel Sethropods does not have any abilities even if in its max level card. A 3 mana card can offer about 3 melee damage + 2 speed + 6 armor/shield + an amazing health of 7! It a good when used at low mana cap battles and can be set as tank since it does have a a good armor and health power but it does have only 1 damage and 1 speed.

STANDARD RULE:

For the summoner, I chose Kelya Frendul at level 1. So for this level, he can only summon monster at level 1 only from different rarities. Kelya is a big help in terms of defense and offense since it has an additional Speed and shield. It still a good choice at this battle.

I let Cruel Sethropod lead the team by letting him in the front of the enemy. Cruel sethropod is a nice card even if it does not have any abilities! For 3 mana, you can now have 1 melee damage and speed and an amazing health of 4 and an armor of 3! But this front monster of mine is very afraid of those magic monster since they can ignore his shield and directly attack its health!

SECOND POSITION

Oshannus supported Sethropod and positioned him next to Sethropod. This monster does have a void ability which reduces the damage of enemy into him. It gets stronger since it has a 5 speed! Yes a 5 speed where it turns to be so fast and a 2 magic damage! He is also geared up with a 10 health power at level 1! It gets much stronger when he reaches level 4 since he now owns about 3 abilities! A good guy for those who loves to use 1 magic damage since they were not able to touch him!

THIRD POSITION

Deeplurker who has a ability of opportunity and having 3 melee attack would be great monster for killing its lowest health enemy! It can perform attack from any position. He has a incredible stats at level 1 with 3 melee damage, 2 speed and a 6 health power! In case hardy stone got killed, Deeplurker can be able to be a tank because of its health power. Alt level 6, an additional poison would be added to him and a 4 melee damage! I think its enemy will be afraid of him since it has also a additional 1 shield to protect himself! At level 10, he can now reduce melee damage of its opponent!

LAST POSITION

This time, I chose a neutral monster with a great speed of 3 and has a damage of two! Supply runner is a good card atthe mana of 6 where he has a enough health power and an amazing speed and ranged damage! At level 5, he now owns a ability where he can add up the speed of its team mates and increase the health power on its max level. A monster who truly cares for his colleagues!!

The other team used the Earth Element and used Obsidian as the summoner. Then he uses monster who does have a magic attack so obsidian can able to summon them and add additional magic damage!
