Today's weekly challenge is with the Time Mage card that can be used in the Life deck. I use this card in many of the games with mana between 20 and 30.

My choices were:

STRATEGY

My strategy for this battle was to use the flying skill of the Pelacor Conjurer on the front line. This skill increases the evasion chances of Meele and ranged attacks. This skill works even better when the card that attacks a monster with the flying skill has lower speed. So I decided to create a combo with our main character Time Mage in second position, with her Slow skill, Time Mage will increase the chances of evasion of Pelacor Conjurer attacks.

In third position we have the Truthspeaker which will provide 2 shield to the entire team, making our front line even stronger, and giving the Pelacor Conjurer the chance to receive more attacks and thus also increases the probability of him staying more time in battle.

The next 3 cards have a ranged attack, so they will benefit from General Sloan's buff, receiving one more attack. The fourth position is the Venari Cristalsmith which in addition to making attacks directly from the back line will also help to heal allies in the front line. The fifth position is the Pelacor Arbalest, which will attack enemies with 3 attack and thanks to its ability, it will be able to attack twice per round. In the last position is the Herbalist who will attack enemies with 2 ranged attack and only cost 2 mana to use it.

Some teams that can mess up my strategy are teams based on magic attack, because Pelacor Conjurer's strategy wouldn't work against magic attack team and a team with a lot of opportunity cards.

In the first round, the enemy's Living Lava lost almost all of its health, not even the shield skill was able to prevent all my attacks concentrated in the enemy's first position, from causing great damage. My Pelacor Conjurer dodged two attacks, one being the Living Lava attack that would do a lot of damage. On my side, the damage was the loss of shield from the Herbalist and Truthspeaker. After the first round, the battlefield was as shown in the image below:

In the second round the enemy lost their Living Lava, Radiated Scorcher and Serpentine Spy. On my team we lost the Herbalist and the Pelacor Conjurer suffered a damage to his shield. At the end of the second round, the battle was as in the image below:

In the third round, the enemy's Lava Spider was defeated and the Tenyii Striker lost 6 health with Pelacor Arbalest's two attacks. My Pelacor Conjurer lost its shield and took 3 damage from Tenyii Striker's attack. You can see in the image below how the battlefield looked after the end of the third round:

In the fourth round the opponent was finished without much difficulty, so the battle strategy was a success!

CONCLUSIONS

In this battle I was lucky that the opponent chose a team based on meele and ranged attacks and still with low speed. With the Time Mage debuff that slowed all opponent cards by 1, Pelacor Conjurer's attack evasion strategy worked very well. The strategy of using Truthspeaker to generate additional protection, especially in the back line of the team, also worked very well. My 3 ranged cards were free to attack the enemy with the help of General Sloan's buff.

O desafio semanal de hoje é com a carta Time Mage que pode ser utilizada no deck de Life. Eu utilizo esta carta em muitas das partidas com mana entre 20 e 30.

ESTRATÉGIA

Minha estratégia para esta batalha foi usar da habilidade flying do Pelacor Conjurer na linha de frente. Esta habilidade aumenta as chances de evasão de ataques do tipo Meele e ranged. Esta habilidade funciona ainda melhor quando a carta que ataca um monstro com a habilidade flying tem velocidade menor. Então resolvi criar um combo com a nossa personagem principal Time Mage na segunda posição, com a sua habilidade Slow, a Time Mage vai aumentar as chances de evasão de ataques do Pelacor Conjurer.

Na terceira posição temos a Truthspeaker que vai fornecer 2 de escudo para toda a equipe, tornando a nossa linha de frente ainda mais forte, e dando ao Pelacor Conjurer a chance de receber mais ataques e assim também aumenta a probabilidade dele ficar mais tempo na batalha.

As próximas 3 cartas, tem ataque do tipo ranged, portanto se beneficiarão do buff do general Sloan, recebendo mais um de ataque. A quarta posição é a Venari Cristalsmith que além de fazer ataques direto da linha de trás também vai ajudar a curar os aliados na linha de frente. A quinta posição é o Pelacor Arbalest, que atacará os inimigos com 3 de ataque e graças a sua habilidade, poderá atacar duas vezes por rodada. Na última posição está o Herbalist que vai atacar os inimigos com 2 de ataque ranged e custou apenas 2 de mana para usá-lo.

Alguns times que podem atrapalhar a minha estratégia, são times baseados em ataque mágico, pois a estratégia do Pelacor Conjurer não funcionaria contra time de ataque mágico e um time com muitas cartas com a habilidade opportunity.

Na primeira rodada o Living Lava do inimigo perdeu quase toda a sua saúde, nem mesmo a habilidade shield foi capaz de evitar que todos os meus ataques concentrados na primeira posição do inimigo, causassem um grande estrago. Meu Pelacor Conjurer se esquivou de dois ataques, sendo um deles o ataque do Living Lava que causaria um grande estrago. Do meu lado, os danos foram a perda de escudo do Herbalist e da Truthspeaker. Após a primeira rodada o campo de batalha ficou conforme a imagem abaixo:

Na segunda rodada o inimigo perdeu seu Living Lava, o Radiated Scorcher e o Serpentine Spy. Na minha equipe perdemos o Herbalist e o Pelacor Conjurer sofreu um de dano em seu escudo. Ao final da segunda rodada a batalha ficou como na imagem abaixo:

Na terceira rodada o Lava Spider do inimigo foi derrotado e o Tenyii Striker perdeu 6 de saúde com os dois ataques do Pelacor Arbalest. O meu Pelacor Conjurer perdeu seu escudo e sofreu 3 de dano no ataque do Tenyii Striker. Você pode ver na imagem abaixo como ficou o campo de batalha após o fim da terceira rodada:

Na quarta rodada o oponente foi finalizado sem muitas dificuldades, portanto a estratégia de batalha foi um sucesso!

CONCLUSÕES

Nesta batalha eu tive a sorte de que o oponente escolheu um time baseado em ataques meele e ranged e ainda com baixa velocidade. Com o debuff da Time Mage que diminuiu 1 de velocidade de todas as carta do oponente, a estratégia de evasão de ataques do Pelacor Conjurer funcionou muito bem. A estratégia de usar a Truthspeaker para gerar uma proteção adicional, principalmente na linha de trás do time também funcionou muito bem. As minhas 3 cartas ranged ficaram livres para atacar o inimigo tendo ainda a ajuda do buff do General Sloan.
