SplinterForge - How I Got Free Crates?

Less than a month ago I stumbled into SplinterForge’s presale and luck would have it I was able to purchase some Forge at a discount compare to where I sold it today. Although I may suffer from the sale what happened was I actually earned back my initial investment and still holding a few crates. This is how I did it.

Getting in Early for Pre-Sale

Like any other crypto project if it’s the real deal and you come in as an early investor you usually reap in rewards. This is because evaluation is often low initially but gradually increase in demand results in higher prices.

Right as the presales was heating up I decided to spend close to 100 hive purchasing forge tokens and spending it on purchasing crates.

Snapshots of the transactions I made was a little under 94 Hive for a little over 104k Forge tokens. I then went and spent 102k tokens for 34 crates. What came after that was a splinterforge airdrop for holding crates. From there on the next few weeks my daily forge accumulated I held on until today’s grand unveil of the game.

The demand and burning of forge to play and purchase items in the game made forge prices jump. I then decided to sell my forge to earn back my initial investment.

The token forge I held at the time was under 63k Forge, but since price had more than double since my initial purchase when I sold the Forge I was able to get close to 104 Hives for all the forge I sold.

I am not abandoning the new game but betting on forge prices will fall and I have a chance to buy back in cheaper. I could be wrong but I am making a bet here and risking on missing out on holding cheap forge. Just a trade and if I’m wrong will buy back in with less forge.

As of now I am ahead with receiving more hive after the purchase and sale of my forge. All the while still holding my initial crates purchased during the presale. In conclusion the crates are no longer sold in game so the only ones available in the market are those on tribledex and hive-engine. Limited in quantities the prices are wide as it’s around 1.7 Hive to 4.5 Hive. To think if I sold the crates even at 3 Hives average I would have came out over 100 Hive ahead out of all this. A 100% ROI in a matter of weeks. All this in a crypto bear market. Crazy 😜!
