Splinterlands - Adding Grum Flameblade

In what seemed like an entirety for me I had just purchased a level 3 Grum Flameblade today. This price was steep compared to lowest $/bcx but I did not want to wait any longer and have just saved enough to obtain this card. I have found it be a sore thumb when using water or earth magic against it and now that I have it on my team I will implement it in the same fashion.

The card is slow but has the abilities to neutralize magic attacks and in return also do heavy damage against opponents when it can attack. Of course it comes at a cost where mana is 11. It will be good setup for high mana battles but selective for low mana battles.

The Bloodlust ability is one of few monsters that holds it and it definitely and magnify damage if it survives long enough in battle. While Void and Void Armor basically slows magic attacks. Then to add in Giant Killer just to nullify opponent's who has high mana monsters makes this an excellent monster to add to my collection. The best part is at level 3 all abilities are activated.

Since I am playing mostly gold league it is fitting to having it at level 3 to be used most efficiently. I don't have to spend the extra to max for now as I have not playing in diamond for weeks if not months. Hopefully in the future I will amass enough DEC earned to max level the card since I do have the Tarsa max level.

Speaking of DEC I am slowly accumulating the token and with that I am using them to purchase cards. This has been over two weeks in since I purchased any cards and months since it was a Chaos card. The bear market is effecting Splinterlands yields but like many fans of the game I too continue to buy cards as long as I can.

It is fascinating to see that many Chaos cards remain in similar price range for the past few months even though the crypto bear market has crippled into Splinterlands. There were days where prices fell slightly but has recovered somewhat for the cards in demand. I won't list out what those cards are since I am also eyeing on purchasing them but for those who have been following the markets they know very well what those cards are.
