Splinterlands - My Season Ending Rewards (Weekly Post)

I completed my daily quest but neglected to complete it prior to season ending hence rather than collecting 12 chest I only got 6. Forgot to check the account before season ending as I am busy with life. :/

For this season here are some of my rewards:

For this season the best card I earned was a rare while best non-card earned was a +1400 DEC chest. Overall nothing outstanding to reflect upon. At the very least on the final day of the season I was able to push on toward Diamond I to receive 60 chests.

Short Analysis of Season Play

In the following I used Splinterlandstats's Report Card to review my past season earnings and game play.

Out of top 10 most used monsters I still regret not investing in a Lord Arianthus when it was under $10 / bcx. Most used card and a decent win rate. Beyond that only Earth Elemental and Defender of Truth did I not have them maxed. All other cards in the top 10 were maxed. Also note Lord Arianthus is a level 2 and rental.

After seeing my rewards stats for the season I am again satisfied with the results. Although I would have done better if I had remember to play in a few Alpha tournaments the overall amount earned divided by 15 days in a season came out to a little under 1500 DEC equivalent. I ignored the potions DEC equivalent as that is basically chalk up as zero DEC to me as I only I can spend them when opening packs.

Conclusions

Next week I'll review my overall Splinterlands collections as the season ending coincided really at the end of the month. However this post is really focused on how well and bad I did this season, which is 50th. I am a bit surprise that Splinterlands has only gotten to two years of play as each season is two weeks when it felt more like a decade of play. A lot has changed over this short period of time and I think many more things are to come.

What I hope to see in future seasons is my capacity to break through the Diamond league as I have come close but never getting over to Champion league. A real goal that I think I can achieve. On the part of a weakness I think is collecting more Untamed cards, specifically Legends in monsters and then summoners. As Untamed series is getting sold much quicker than past series it is drawing near a close to being no longer printed. This will only raise the cost of Untamed cards as less and less packs are up for sale.
