hello, welcome back in my blog. At this time i want to share my opinion about how powerfull water deck in modern format. As i say, this is just my opinion, you can agree or not but I welcome your input to write a comment below.

If we talk about water splinter, we must see the rare summoner from chaos legion edition that is Kelya Frendul who buff +1 speed and + armor to each monsters. Speed ​​is a very important factor in the battle area, You can attack your enemy first before your enemy attacks you. I will present a battle that uses a water deck, lets check it out.

BATTLE PREPARATION

Based on the established rules, I want to show the water deck even without a summoner it looks strong enough on the battlefield. The rules is :

Silinced Summoner : Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.

Lost Legendaries : Legendary Monsters can't be used. Legendary Summoners are still available though.

1st positionTrample and EnrageIn first position i put Diemondshark who has huge damage, strong armors and this card also have trample ability and also enrage.
2nd positionReach and BlindIn 2nd position i put Flying Squid who has reach and blind ability. This card can give more damage to oppponent monster in first position.
3rd positionOpportunity and PoisonDeeplurker is a common monster from chaos legion edition belongs to water deck. i put this card in 3rd position to execute monster who has low health.
4th positionTriageIn 4th position i used Angelic Mandarin who has triage ability, many of us call him backline doctor because he can heal monsters in backline.
5th positionnoneIn 5th position, i put Nerissa Tridawn an epic card from chaos legion edition belongs to water unit. Event this card did't have ability but she has big magic attack
6th positionThaunt, Close Range, and VoidIn last position i put Wave Brood who has taunt and void ability. My strategy used this card to recieve all attack and will be healing by Angelic Mandarin.

Round 1

  • On round 1, all monsters give their buff and debuff, but not for summoners because of the silinced rules.
  • As i prepared, most attacks received by wave brood and Angelic Mandari give healing.
  • most of my attacks will go to the monster with the first position which is Living Lava.
Round 2

  • In round 2, Living Lava has defeated because of poison that effeck -2 health.
  • On this round my Wave Brood also defeteated.
Round 3

  • In the third round, the rest of the monsters on the battlefield look balanced where 5 monsters against 5 monsters.
  • I lost my Diemondshark and my opponent loss Fineas Rage.
Round 4

  • At the beginning of the round 4 monsters are seen against 4 monsters, but but at the end of the round I only had 2 monsters left and fought 3 monsters from my opponent.
Round 5

  • My Angelic Mandarin has defeated in this round, I only have Nerissa Tridawn.
  • My Nerissa Tridawn vs 3 monsters left on battlefield.
Round 6 - end

  • In Last Round, Larissa Tridawn overthrows the remaining 3 monsters.

CONCLUTION

This is my opinion why the water deck is so powerfull.

Summoner

I often use those two summoners, but i mostly like Kelya Frendul because He more cheaper to used in battlefield.

Strong Tanker

In Huge manar rules, mostly i used strong tanker to recieve attack from opponent.

Supporting Monster

For supporting monster, i like to used Merdaali Guardian who has heal and repair ability.

High Damage Monster

I like to used Nerissa Tridawn but sometimes i used Azmare Harpoonist to give more damage.
