Almost there - is crypto changing me? - Day 59

I am celebrating 2 months tomorrow, of my daily writing challenge. I wrote every day, and some days were harder than others. I still have some easy days, when I write the Splinterlands battle challenge, or my usual post about the mentioned blockchain game. And other days when I am just sitting in the dark, in front of the computer, just putting words on the screen, more or less randomly. That's is, because I work in healthcare, from 8 AM to 8 PM, so I am writing either at 6 AM, or at 9-10 PM. Yet, i choose to persevere, and my dream target will be one year of daily writing. Just for the fun of it.

Early investments in blockchain projects, and in some games, will probably pay me a big enough income 12 months from now. Compounding is the 8th wonder of the world, and if I am increasing my portfolio tenfold for another year, I will be lucky enough to afford to help others. I solemnly swear that I am up to no good, but random acts of kindness are one of my guilty pleasures. I learned, even as a little child, to waste nothing. My dad was quite often getting stuff from the street, and use it for one or another tinkering project. My grandfathers could both improvise and repair stuff, and 'throw it away' is not something that I learn growing up. There is always some secondary use for anything.

This may be the reason why I constantly learn and experience side hustles, this is why I like to try different projects and games, and why I like to create projects meant to generate passive income, in one form or another. I am really enthusiastic just thinking at Splinterlands lands and how I will rent them. I am all in into specialized projects such as UMA Ethereum bridge called Across, which can instantly send crypto from layer 2 rollups to ETH Mainnet. Sometimes I have no patience, I feel that my trust was betrayed. I decided to quit Crypto-blades in a fraction of second, as soon as they decided to mess with the reward mechanism. I do not trust easily, but yet, I choose to keep going forward. My Hive experience is only one year long, but I like the community, well, big part of it. I am not always understanding what is happening behind the closed doors. But I like to learn more. take for example Digicon. First time I was not even able to make an avatar. I gave up. But second time I was succesfull, and I even walked around a bit, in that virtual world. Didn't do much, but there is always next time.

I still act on impulse now and then. I still get into FUD and FOMO. But I am better than before. I improve, not that fast that I would like, but a small good result is always better than no result. Step by step, brick by brick, I will build the future that I care about. Decades ago was just one impossible dream. Now it is on sight. I can almost see it. I can feel it into the rain, the wind, and all the Lords of the ring stuff.

I cannot be stopped. I choose to do one step, and then another, and keep going. What about you?

All the best, George
