Wind of change - Day 36

(Edited)

I was talking with friends about the posibility of using a magic remedy that it is bringing back to your best physical and mental level of your twenties, let's say, and I noticed something funny. The older they were, the most unexpected the answer. So, given that there is a supplement that is reverting your body to your youth, with the condition that it is keeping you there for as long as you get it daily, and you come back to your normal age when you stop taking it, and that it is a bit expensive to take it (not that something like this exists but cough Elysium Health cough) what would you do?

Many of my older friends would not like to take it, as it would be too much to feel young again, and come back once more to your daily pain and aches. ''I went trough this process once, I do not know if I am able to do it again'' was the common answer. And then I realized, that this is the same approach that most of the people are using with crypto too. When you failed enough times, and you crushed enough dreams, you tend to avoid opening that emotional wound again. I dreamed few times that I will be rich, and happy, I was thinking that it is possible for me, but it was not.

Fear of change and going out of your comfort zone is something so common, that is the norm right now. What happened with us? We use to dream that we can change the world, we use to believe in us, we use to search for Pandora's box. And here we are, box open, with only hope remaining there inside, and we are closing it. Again and again. The new generations seems to accept defeat even more easier, seeing the sparkle of light going dimmer and dimmer in their parents eye. You cannot fight the system, because is rigged, and only the rich become richer, and the bla bla bla. Of course you can. For the first time, we have a change. We do not need millions, we only need to be patient enough, and to persevere in adding small amounts to the pile, every day. We can win.

Yes, I know, like somebody said, the most addictive habits are heroin, sugar and a 9-5 job. I am there too. I do not dare yet to leave the comfort of a main job. Even if I could. This is the last anchor keeping me linked to a normal life. And I understand. Crypto can be scary. But crypto can be also wonderful. You do not need money, if you don't have it. There are so many other ways to get some crypto. You can write instead, on some of the crypto paying blogs ( Hive, Publish0x or Read.cash). You can play a blockchain game like Splinterlands or Axie. It is not the time to talk about all of them, but the posibilities are here. The leap of faith. You can be rich, you can be happy. You can reach your wildest dream (of course, you may need to work hard enough for that to happen). You can be a winner.

So, for the first time, cancel your doubts, silence your mind, and start to learn. There is still time!

All the best, George
