English Version:

Today I want to share with you a very interesting new battle, between two water-type formations, which reflect two different strategies, seeing the virtues and weaknesses of each of them, although the difference that you will see here is not only that we had to wait until fatigue decided a winner beyond turn 20, but I'll also share one of my losses, breaking down what went wrong with my card selection.

Another disadvantage that I could see is that since we are at the beginning of a new season, the rivals usually have more varied cards, with which they can use more varied strategies than mine, seeing there, one of the obvious disadvantages that it had in the game.

Without much else to add, this was the formation I used in battle:

My Formation for this battle / Mi Formación para esta batalla:

The game had 27 mana to summon, so the game was standing with two 6-card builds, but I tried something different, going all in on cards with good abilities and high offensive damage. This was part of one of my mistakes in the game, since my opponent did place several decoys, so I lost several attacks eliminating cards that were not important.

Unlike my rival, I went for Serpent of Eld as a tank, both for his physical damage, as well as his ability, while the second position I used my only decoy, Albatross, which worked very well, avoiding a couple of rival attacks.

The main strategy of both was the same, the use of two cards with Chance, but as I mentioned above, their ability to deflect more of my attacks ended up being essential in the game. And finally, the decision of both was different in terms of complements, I preferred to increase the shield of my cards, which was not so decisive, while the other side decided on a healer, a card that was decisive for my defeat.

It's time for battle! / ¡Es hora de la batalla!

My opponent played with a water-type formation, with the variants that I already mentioned above, drawing my attention to the use of Furious Chicken, which, thanks to its null summoning cost, is one of the best cards to respond to a strategy like the mine, and going further, if I had this card, I would have won.

At the end of the effects of summoners and other monsters, my cards had a very good shield, though mostly ineffective at stopping more than two attacks, plus I lost that extra speed point from my summoner to the effect of his Creeping Doze.

There weren't too many highlights in the first round, his Furious Chicken went down, while my Albatross evaded both attacks thrown at him.

In the second round our lures fell, so here the victory could be whoever, although as you will see, luck was not on my side.

Our Feasting Seaweed were the next to fall, but something that irritated me a lot was the bad luck he had, while his tank was saved at the last second, mine did not activate his ability once, being a total nonsense to use.

As the turns passed, our last two cards remained, and although his could not hurt, the final result would not favor me...

The rival card was recovering the little life that was taking away from it, so when we got hit by fatigue, I already knew I was going to lose.

This was my entry for the Splinterlands social media challenge, I hope you liked this battle, even though I ended up losing it, jajaja.

As final conclusions, and although I do not like to use the luck factor as a cause, in this game it was very important that cards like Serpent of Eld could not activate their abilities, remembering other games where I have absurdly missed up to 14 attacks in a single game. The greater number of cards of my rival also influenced, because if I had Furious Chicken, I am almost sure that I would have won, but beyond all that, I think that I lost by using Venari Crystalsmith, since its use or true importance in the game, was really null...
