Battle Showoff Using The Pirate Archer - Sharp With A Bit Of Explosion

Hello Splinterlandians from all over the world,

With updates springing up almost every 3 days in this game, its getting more difficult to keep up, I've found my head spinning out of control trying to keep abreast with everything happening, I miss the good ol' days when things were very simple and boring lol....speaking of boring, so much things have been spiced up in the recent times, besides the major developments, let's take a look at some minor developments making the game more interactive and fun.

Before, as you advanced in levels there were no prompts to tell show you your latest feats, now you have a prompt giving the following message...

You May Access:
SILVER III
One by one, your opponents have fallen to your superior Skill and Power. They no longer pose a challenge.

Supercool Isn't it!!!Ofcourse my opponents will fall to my superior skills and power pffft I mean!I'm badass like that!....Another one goes....

You may advance to the next league to earn even greater rewards or you may choose to remain in your current league to compete for the leaderboard there.
Do you wish to Advance?

Then before you go ahead another prompts ask...

Are you sure you want to advance? This will move you up to the next leaderboard to earn greater rewards. But you will face deadlier foes, and cannot return to a previous leaderboard until next season.

In my mind, I'm like...Pffft duhh...yeah....I'mma kick anyone's ass anywayz, bring it on!!!

I really appreciate these little improvements and find them to be fun!Go Splinterlands!!!

To the post of today, the challenge of the week was to show off the Pirate Archer in battle, and here we go!

THEME PIRATE ARCHER

Edition: REWARD

Rarity: RARE

Element: WATER

ATTACK: RANGED

ABILITIES: Blast at level 1

I've been a fan of the Pirate Archer since the scratch, I presently have mine on level 5 and I always find it useful especially with the fact that it has a very low mana and does double damage, one to the opponents card it hits and the other to the opponents card that is next in line to the one it hits! Sweet isn't it!

The screenshot above is the snippet from the battle I fought using the Pirate Archer strategically to take out my opponents cards. My upperhand was using the magic monsters as they kept draining the opponents cards with their magic attacks, the shirld rule also worked in my advantage as it helped soak in damage that would have otherwise gone for my health instead!

I enjoyed using the Spineback Turtle monster in the first position as any opponents card that touches it gets to loose part of its health, just like hitting a porcupine lol, no one wants to hit a thorny porcupine.

The feasting Seaweed also came in handy by dealing the opponents cards with the opportunity ability maing it hit the opponents from the rear. It was fun to watch them go down.

The video below shows the replay of the full battle, its fun and only takes few minutes, in it I made more explanations about the positions of my cards. Enjoy.

Thank you for reading!!

And that's it for this weeks show off folks, if you'd like to join me in having this awesome gaming experience on Splinterlands, here's my referral link, I will walk you step by step in the noobiest way possible.
