Brief update on my $HBD savings goals and plans

Just a brief update on my HBD saving goals, I’m happy to have raised the amount of HBD in my savings to $4000.

I returned the $600 I recently withdrew from my savings account that I’d planned to use for the Polycub launch, I wrote about it in this post. There’s no clear date for when the app will launch and there’s no point holding $600 liquid when it could be working, I was just overly excited at the launch-post when I hit the withdraw button.

I’m sure there’ll be enough time given to get ready when there’s a clear launch date so there’s no need to be hasty about anything. Plus hbd savings account requires 3days to process withdrawals so how bad can it be. I’ll be ready either way.

At this rate of $4000, I’ll be earning $40 per month, paid out by the blockchain, it’s still a far shot from my target at 10k HBD in savings, but I’m very happy with the growth and grateful for every support I receive from everyone. I had a dream that HBD interest rates were increased to around 20%. It felt so real.

I was really happy in the dream, at 20% APR I’ll be earning $66 per month with $4k. At $10k, I’ll be earning $166 per month. How sweet to think about.

Interesting thing is, I can continue building this thing for life because even if the dollar crashes(hypothetically), the HBD is made up of 1$ worth of Hive. So if we say Hive is valued in EURO, instead of the dollars, then HBD will be 1€ worth of Hive. Cool stuff. Hbd like hydra. Can’t kill it

Have you noticed the Splinterlands cards market have been seeing increase in prices of cards or is it just me? Especially older gen cards, Have they bottomed out? It won’t be surprising given the level of publicity the game has been getting lately, real partnerships, real recognition, love to see it.

Y’all saw what happened to the Waka Spiritblade card sale, it was an absolute success! I can’t wait to see the ripple effect trickle down.

I can bet the second stage of the sale will be twice as successful as the first. There are now about 7.3m CL packs left to go. My plan is to start dipping into the market around the time when there are less than 1m packs left to go.

My prediction is that by then, there will be double the amount of cards in the market than there presently is and hence lower prices. This has been my stance for a while now and the markets have been reacting just as so but I’ll keep monitoring things so as to not be caught off guard should any parabolic moves happen.
