Every Card Has it’s Day - Centaur in Action

To think I never wanted to use the centaur because it was low on life, just look at how it brought the win home! Sometimes the rejected stone really does become the corner stone. At the point of picking the cards I was going to take into battle, I was constrained to a 24 mana battle and based on the cards I had, the Centaur was the best fit from the selection I had in mind to complete the number of cards to use.

I had three choices, to pick a 4 mana ranged attack card with 3 damage points and 3 life , to pick two 2 mana cards with 1 damage point and 1 life respectively or pick a 4 mana card with 5 life and 1 damage point.

Yeah I know it looks simple to the eye, but it really isn’t as simple as it looks, the first option gives me heavy damage hits but is low on life, it’ll die in maximum of 3 hits from the enemy cards, the other 2 mana cards are just melee attackers and would be too risky to the team, I’ll rather pick a card that will move and do some damage over the one that’ll wait to be killed....in this case.

So I went with the Centaur, a 4 mana, 5life and 1damage point card. And it was the best decision I made for this battle! Let’s just say my strategy to load my line up with cards that carried a lot of life paid off, some battles require one loads up on more damage points over life, but sometimes the best form of attack is attacking! And with that, one has to prepared to soak in a lot of damage.

And opting for range monsters in combat rule with all ability lost actually paid off for you.
Awesome victory bro.
