Putting More Skin in the Game

Over the time, I’ve learnt not to underestimate any Hive Engine based token because often times more than not, they end up performing well especially over time! So I staked all my POB tokens! Why did I take so long? Anyone that follows my blog knows that I’m more into creating crypto and financial related content, which also mostly tie into POB...because I mean, it’s brain work too, my intention was just to accumulate POB tokens through posting and see what happens.

However, it’s one thing to use a community and it is another thing to be part of a community, having stake in a community proves the latter and has its benefits, moreover it’s easier to grow when your stakes brings you returns via putting the stakes to work, no matter how little, than when one is waiting to be handed the tokens, moreover staking helps in redistribution of the tokens which helps the community grow.

I’ve also been watching the price of the token for a while and I’ve noticed that there’s a price floor at $0.196 which I think is very fair based on the fact that the token has risen up to $0.3 or close to it in recent times, this has made me put by orders at $0.21 levels and I’ll continue to do so at those levels till I can hopefully accumulate and stake 500 POB tokens, then 1k and beyond. Truth is earning tokens from posting is cool, but earning even more from curation is just way super cool. My stake on Leofinance has taught me this.

SPT

Splintertalk tribe has been one of the most underrated tribes for the longest time, one of the best moves I made was growing my SPT stakes to about 50k when it was super cheap, as the token of a growing gaming community, spotting it as a relevant investment was a no brainer for me, now things are looking up, those stakes are now worth more than I could imagine.

I read a post made by @travelgirl yesterday, Splinterlands is revamping the whole tribe interface and utility, SPT owners can now purchase Splinterlands NFT artworks through only SPT tokens via the tribe website,

for some reason I can’t gain access into the website I guess it’s still on maintenance but I read that the price of the NFT’s have started to go up and you can tell that there’s a rush for SPT tokens as well. It’s all good!

CTP

I’ve also started to pay more attention to CTP tribe and token, I’m on my way to trade my way into 1000CTP tokens. I’m presently close to 500, it is interesting how the sellers are so thinly spread, the tribe must be such a tight knitted one, it’s nice to see.

These are the tribes I’ll be focusing on growing my stakes in for the time being, this is how we play the community game. Hopefully I keep up with this plan, I’ll be glad to see where I stand by the end of the year.
