Earning in Splinterland Low Budget (NEW)

Hello!
Welcome to my first Post!
So here im gonna guide you how to start earning in Splinterland Bronze to Silver with low budget.

NOTE:English is not my first language.

I've been playing splinterland for like 1 months and a half, with just 10$ Spellbook as my budget. So far i've been making 80$ more or less, You could get more or less than me, depends on your luck on reward, i pulled legendary card on daily quest. Yes i know now they update the reward system but i can still guide you to start earning in splinterland.
Since i saw a lot of newbs coming and struggling on start, and thinking it's impossible to start earning in this game with 10$ budget, i decided to make this Guide.

NOTE: You won't Earn much in the first 1-7 days.
If you want to get a quick buck right after you start the game, NO
Splinterland is not for you. Even if you spent like 500-1000$, you won't get any good money in the first day!
If you want to earn big in Splinterland, You can IF you spent big! but if you're on low budget, You will start very slow, but you will be able to catch up on big league.

Here we go

  1. Buy Spellbook (10$)
You won't get anything without this one

  2. Buy DEC 50-100
So back when i was started playing this game, the reward system in bronze is pretty good. But until they update the reward system Where you won't get any card/DEC in Bronze 3 (10% cardrate), and a small chance to get a card in Bronze 2 and 1, so i suggest you to get some DEC. I was lucky enough to get Epic Card on my first Daily Quest lootchest right on the Second day playing on bronze 3 (i sold it for 2$).

  3. Rent Wavesmith, SeaMonster, And Prismatic Energy (Optional)
You can rent other cheap good card but i use these.
These Cards is very OP in Bronze! All you need is just spam these three to get to silver Rating!
This is why i told you to buy some DEC on start, You will need three of these card in Bronze, Spam magic deck and you will get easy bronze 1/Silver 3. The price it self is really cheap (0.1 DEC/Day SeaMonster, 0.5-5 DEC/Day Wavesmith, 0.4-7 DEC/Day Prismatic Energy).
There are other cheap combination for the bronze tier, but i only use these three.
NOTE: Be aware your opponent can counter you with Void card.

  4. Rent Gold Foil
Now you reach bronze 1/Silver 3, and then what? Depends on how much DEC you got, if you got like 500-1000 DEC on your account, just keep renting Gold foil each day to maintain your account in Silver to get some good Daily lootchest.
If you only got like 50-100 DEC or very low amount, Just rent on End of Season.
The Hardest part is looking for the card to rent, You need to keep an eye on the cheap card with 15k CP, i suggest you to use auto rent in peakmonster, it also has more detailed info on card. I usually spent for like 30-200 DEC for the End of Season rewards (Silver 3).
    Repeat this step

  5. Maintain Your Rank and Max your ECR Usage
ECR (Energy Capture Rate) Will regen 25% a day, keep playing until you reach 75% ECR and let it regen tomorrow. Unless it's end of season, Play it until it dropped 50%, and then you can wait for the next 2 days for it to regen. Do not ever play if your ECR is low. You will get some good amount of DEC in silver tier.
    Repeat this step

  6. Sell your card/Rent your card
Now you got some card from your lootchest, if you're really on low budget, Sell it. Except it's a good card that you always rent Or a card that has high CP, then keep it.
Why should you sell it? because Airdrop. The more DEC you holdings, the more Airdrop you got.

  7. SPS
So you got some SPS from airdrop, there's 2 way to use it, Do not Stake it unless you got a bunch of SPS!
I suggest you to Swap it to DEC, Or if there's a card pack on sale, buy those with SPS.
The more DEC/CP you hold, The more SPS you get. And the card you got from the pack, you could sell it, or use it, or rent it, do whatever you want.

  8. Repeat
That pretty much it, It will take a while, your first season will be hard, but once you get the hang of the economy of the game, it will feel much easier.
If you're lucky enough to pull out 5$ card on daily quest, it will be much more easier.

You don't have to own the card to maintain the rank and your earnings, just keep your DEC high, and try to stay on silver 3.
Everyday you will get 2 daily lootchest, its depend on you to sell or keep or rent the card. I mainly sell it if it has a low power and barely useful for me. Then i hold those DEC i get from selling card to get more airdrop and rent my way out to silver.
If you use your ECR effectively, you won't lose any DEC from renting.
Remember on the start of the game, ignore everything else, just focus to push up to Silver tier, or atleast bronze 1 minimum.
You won't get anything good in bronze 3 and bronze 2.

So there you have it, atleast thats how i play just with 10$ spellbook. Well now it would be hard to only start with 10$ spellbook but as i said on step 2, Get some DEC for your convenient, just a small amount.

I see some newbie says it's moneygrab, But to think again, you somehow gotta pay atleast a little to earn, free to play earning is just too good to be true, while splinterland require just 10$ spellbook and a few DEC to start, and you can still earn with it, its not bad.
The thing is on blockchain gaming, Play big, Earn Big. The more you spent, The more you get. But if you just bought a 10$ Spellbook and expect 5$ a day, That's too unrealistic.
You gotta get some DEC, grind your way out to silver, manage your DEC and SPS, and repeat. It won't be easy but it will surely payoff.

Im pretty sure thats all, i might be missing something but i will update again later.

Cheers!
