Recent purchase of Splinterlands cards(Part 1)

From my previous post, I have some fund that i wanted to withdraw from cro app as the earn APR had dropped from 12% to 8%, and I already have hit the individual limit, which make subsequent earn to have only a miserable 2%.

As a result, I purchased SPS, hive and HBD. In fact, I also spend to purchase some cards which i am missing. Instead of the usual goal of trying to buy max level cards, i decide to buy cards with reasonable prices.

My first purchase is Enchanted Pixie. I bought a lv 5 for $49.50. The key reason is that Pixie has inspire skill at lv5. Being neutral, I can easily slot her into any team with her low 3 mana.

Next is sandworm. I bought a handful of them at $1 each to help my sandworm to upgrade from lv5 to lv6. As a result, my sandworm can gain Snare skill which is a sure hit for flying creature. As sandworm tend to miss due to it slow speed, the snare can be very useful at unexpected time.

3rd purchase is Gelatinous Cube. I directly bought a lv6 cube for $70. Lv6 is when the cube start to have self heal. It is usually very powerful during poison matches and quite a good tanker due to the high hp and healing.

4th purchase is Elven Cutthroat. I can only bought a lv8 for a crazy amount of $246. I settle with lv8 is because it is the 1st level to have 3 melee attack. I have been wanting to buy elven cutthroat for ages but it is just so expensive. Since now i have pixie with inspire, this can be a good addition.

5th purchase is Parasitic Growth. Lv10 for $200 which is $0.50/bcx. Another melee attack with scavenger. Scavenger skills can be very important, making it an insane tank if used properly.

6th purchase is Grenadier, purchasing a max lv6 for $258.05. Recently, I start to see more people using Grenadier against me. And there are a lot of time when it affect me quite a bit. One of the interesting combi is that it has blast and snare. So there is once where I use fly team for earthquake and one shot from Grenadier grounded 2 of my team members. Oppress is actually quite gd for Grenadier as during matches with roughly 20 mana, there are time where people will put gd attackless tank in 1st position like lord arianthus or almo etc.

7th purchase is Spirit Miner. One of the key reason is that it is a neutral that has swiftness. Chao Legion edition has supply runner that has swiftness too and i use very often in any team to boost the speed. I bought 4 copies at $45.5/bcx to get it to lv2 for the swiftness skill.

8th purchase is Highland Archer. For lv9, 3mana highland archer has 3 range damage and quite good speed and hp. It is worth only $64.44 for lv9. Can be a good addition to Slogan team for odd mana matches.

Still loving Splinterlands as usual and I still firmly believe in it for the long run. Looking forward to the land expansion!
