Splinterlands: Another Million for the Conqueror AirDrop
The new Legendary AirDrop card, Conqueror Jacekw is a Summoner from the Fire Splinter. Consistent as expected, it will be 6 mana in order to be used which is interesting as the prior Legendary Summoners with three abilities back in the Untamed Editions were 7 mana. The new Summoner will provide three abilities one of which is relatively new to the game: +2 Speed, Pierce, and Scattershot. It will definitely add some alternatives to the meta.
My over 3,000 packs helped only slightly this time as guaranteed rates were adjusted given sales so I was unable to guarantee myself a fully maxed version but I did expect these results. I got the minimum 6 regular foil cards which made me quickly monitor the market to purchase the 5 I need for a maxed version. The prices stabilized rather quickly with this drop and were lower than what both the community and I expected once again. Therefore, I went into the market early on to get the other 5 I needed for max level for my playing Collection.
The Legendary Summoner AirDrops have now started so exciting for the community. It may be a while to see the next one but incredible to see the value being built for all the players in the ecosystem. My Collection has continued to bloom despite the declines in value seen in the past months. I cannot avoid getting deeper into this and while I am already well past my budget of packs, I am sure there will continue to be reasons to add for the chance for more AirDrops even as they slow.
