MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN

Not a card that I use very often but it has a lot of life and a few interesting stats for high mana battles.

This time I paired it with my dragon splinter to give myself a few extra options.

The Battle.

The ruleset for this battle was:

Silenced Summoners.

Odd ones out.

50 Mana.

Starting line-up

These high mana matches are very interesting, especially with only half your deck available as you can get some strange combinations.

It's a good place to see how strong a deck really is.

I added the dragon splinter to earth cards for my line-up and used Mycelic to tank my team. It's not the best card for it but i didn't have that man high mana cards to use. I backed it up with a maxed out Almo which is brilliant at max level.

Then my favorite sand worm to reek havoc on their back line. Unfortunately they had the same idea with Mycelic and a lot of ranged cards using a legendary summoner.

This would lead me to believe that they are using a battle bot as the summoner is irrelevant in this mtch.

First kill..

First kill went to their team and it was my tank which is no surprise since it was taking all of their attacks.

I did have a healer and armor repair but it wasn't enough to keep my tank alive. That is here Almo comes into play. With return fire for their ranged attack, healing and an armor repair every turn it's a hard tank to kill off.

THe return fire made all of the difference here as it took off all of their armor for my sand worm to power through.

Round three.

Their Mycelic was the next victim in late round two. After that my team dominated and they could never break through the tank. It just kept healing and sending back their ranged attack.

one by one the sand worm took out all of their monsters from the back line until it became inevitable.

Finishing line-up.

I finished where i started off by only losing my Mycelic in the early rounds.

After that my team kept healing itself while dealing out a lot of damage. Since their whole team was ranged it became impossible to fight back after losing their tank since they lost another card at the same time from their attacking lie up.

A couple of my legendaries aren't maxed out which is a disadvantage but a better line up won the day in the end.

Try for yourself.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

It's an interesting card to use but I don't use it too often either. The taunt can come in useful but I guess it just depends on the situation and it does give your other monsters time to kill.
