Splinterlands Art Contest Week 186// Silvershield Assassin

Hi everybody, for this week I make this fanart of the silvershield assassin, for this time I tried to use a technique with only black and white, and layers with luminic effects for the color, also the first Idea was a forest on the background, but I had to remake the background because a short circuit in my house ;n; , I hope you like it ^^.

Software Used:

Paint Tool Sai

Materials Used:

A Genius Wizard Pen tablet, and the brushes of pencil,clouds, water, and airbrush.

Process:

First, I make an sketch.

Then, I create a new layer to make the details and lineart.

Now, I put colors in grayscale like the color base.

I add details in each part of the body using my airbrush.

Now, I cut the canvas to center the character, and I use gradient to emulate the light.

I make secctions of rectangles to make the walls and ground.

I add details scratching repetedly the ground with my brush.

All the objects in the scene had simple forms, and I make the details using the airbrush and different tones in Black & White .

Having the depth of each object in B/W, I create layers with the effect of shade and light, and a second layer with the overlap effect, I make this process with each part of the picture.

Finally, I add luminic effects in the background, eyes and the weapons.

You will grow and benefit more in the long run either ways if you do. The more rewards on Hive is more money for Splinterlands and the more money in Splinterlands is more stake in Hive. It's really a win win situation!
