Today I tried my hand at a splinterlands tournament

I have been in tournaments before, but never a live one, and this was an elimination style tournament.

well.. here are the results

First match I was out

So not the best result, as I lost my first match but hey its an experience anyway.

My match was no shields, and so I could see by my opponents history that they will probably go water + 1 magic. So I loaded up the magic defense.

My main mistake in this round was using a healer as the affliction ability rendered that useless and that's 3 mana I could have spent better elsewhere. In the end, it came down to who's axemaster played first in the last round.. and theirs did.. so I lost.

so could have been a better experience but loved the live nature.. signed on to twitch for a bit to watch the matches as well.. definitely will do this again.
